Editor's Note: I received this from a new member in the Cancer Support room on AOL. I just loved her enthusiasm and had to reprint it here for all to see. I really didn't want to edit it, but I felt I should point out a few things here and there, so my edits will be in red.

EVE'S CANCER CURE
(Everyone--please show list to your oncologists next visit--and get the ok. I think he/she will agree with this practical list to help beat your cancer.)

1. MILK THISTLE Herbal Extract (take 15-30 drops in WARM tea or water 1-4 times daily)--THIS IS EXCELLENT FOR LIVER (LIVER IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT ORGAN-RESPONSIBLE FOR SO MANY THINGS). It also works extra hard during chemo etc. Milk thistle has been known to help prevent Cirrhosis of the liver (for people with Hepatitis)--and  aids in overall liver function. You can use Milk Thistle during and after chemotherapy. 
NOTE: (DO NOT BUY MILK THISTLE TEA AS THAT IS TOO DILUTED). GET EITHER THE HERBAL LIQUID EXTRACT OR SOLARAY EXTRACT IN PILL FORM.


2. GREEN TEA-- Preferably Japanese Green Tea-(4-6 cups per day)--(and don't pour boiling water on the tea bags--pour HOT water on them--boil water first and let water sit for a minute or two before pouring over tea bags) then let the tea steep a bit and cool before drinking. Polyphenols in Tea inhibit tumor growth!
(NOW Foods has a green tea extract, much more potent than the tea itself. It is also a great antioxidant.) 

3. GARLIC-- Get Garlic pills (Standardized Extract)-and take 2 per day--it is beneficial for a number of things--good for heart and anti-cancer, anti-bacterial. You can either get the pills--or try eating two RAW GARLIC CLOVES PER DAY (of course your eyes will tear, you may choke and lose a heck of alot of friends)! But you'll be healthy! Healthy and lonely...lol
(Actually, these are supposed to be "odorless" meaning they won't cause you bad breath. Dr Richard Schulze recommends seven cloves per day (if your digestive system can take this), and for colon cancers a garlic enema once a day. Remember to crush the cloves up and let them sit for ten minutes before adding to your food.)

4. TURMERIC-- Get Turmeric Pills (Standardized Extract). It should say--95% Curcuminoids on it and take 400-600mg 3 times per day for anti-cancer benefits and immune system enhancer

5. ASTRAGALUS--GET ASTRA-8 (chinese herbs extract) excellent for boosting immunity and anti-cancer. Take 3 pills twice a day or whatever it says on the bottle.
(Whatever it says on the bottle is less than you should take. The industry is being watched closely, so they tend to under-prescribe. Astragalus is often sold with Echinacea, however, Echinacea is used to start the immune system, not keep it running: two weeks on, two weeks off is the rule. You wouldn't keep turning the key to your car once the engine started, would you?)

6. EAT SHIITAKE and MAIITAKE MUSHROOMS (get from Japanese Market or any other farmer's market store)--EXCELLENT ANTI-CANCER PROPERTIES (just take mushrooms--put in a skillet with a little olive oil, garlic and ginger and cook for only FIVE MINUTES!!) DELICIOUS!! You can also cook the mushrooms with a little butter instead--but it isn't as healthy as with olive oil, garlic and ginger.
(Reishi mushrooms too, but in pill form since they are so bitter. And keep in mind that the extracts from these mushrooms are much more potent [and expensive] than the actual mushrooms.)

7.  NALTREXONE- get from your doctor a prescription for 3 milligram tablets of naltrexone to be taken every night before you go to bed (around 11pm or 12 am)--ANTI-CANCER (blocks opiate receptors and makes your body produce more endorphins/also has some tumor-inhibiting properties). 8.  LICORICE ROOT TEA--Take one cup per day (anti-cancer). Make sure it is REAL Licorice extract!
(Is also good for digestion, after dinner.)

9.  CoQ10 pills --Get this (good for heart muscle--and also anti-cancer).

10. Take Multivitamin and extra Vitamin E every day (400 units) (Vitamin E is good for lung function by the way and of course an antioxidant).
(Most multivitamins are garbage. See your health care professional for something s/he carries, or look for Standard Process Labs, they make the best right from organic whole foods.)

NOTE: PLEASE CONSULT YOUR ONCOLOGIST BEFORE TAKING ANY OF THE ABOVE LISTED SUPPLEMENTS/TEA/OR MEDICATION. THE REASON I SAY THIS--IS -IF YOU ARE TAKING A BLOOD-THINNER FOR INSTANCE--YOUR DOCTOR MAY NOT WANT YOU DRINK GREEN TEA (WHICH IS ALSO A BLOOD THINNER) or IF YOU HAVE RENAL DISEASE (TAKING LICORICE OR LICORICE ROOT IS NOT GOOD FOR PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM THAT)--OR IF YOU DEPEND ON NARCOTIC PAIN RELIEF (NOT JUST ANY PAIN-KILLERS--BUT SPECIFICALLY NARCOTICS)-THEN YOU MAY NOT WISH TO TAKE NALTREXONE. IT WOULD NOT HURT YOU--BUT THE NALTREXONE (EVEN IN SMALL AMOUNTS) MAY INTERFERE WITH THE PAIN-KILLING EFFECTS OF THE NARCOTIC.

In addition to the supplements/tea/medication stated above start eating as much as possible the following foods that are all high on the list of ANTI-CANCER FOODS!!!
(Only organic if you are battling cancer.)

Broccoli/Broccoli Sprouts
(Gerson institute states that sprouts interfere with enzymatic action and recommend against them if you are battling cancer.)
Cauliflour
Cabbage
Tomatoes (lightly cooked)--to release the most anti-oxidants
(Canned are even more potent and contain more lycopene than raw.)
Spinach
Watercress
Kale/Mustard Greens/DARK GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES
Brussel Sprouts
Oranges/Grapefruits
(Limit to two servings if you are battling cancer.)
Red Grapes
Apricots/Date and Prunes
Strawberries
Blueberries
Raspberries
Chick Peas
Lentils
Carrots
Sweet Potatoes
Squash
Walnuts
Salmon/Mackerel
(High in omega-3 oils.)
HOT RED PEPPERS
Asparagus
(There is an alternative cancer therapy in which you eat asparagus only.)
Beets
Artichokes

A FEW MORE THINGS TO ADD TO THIS LIST ARE:

1. YOU MUST GET REGULAR EXERCISE (AEROBIC) EVERY DAY OR AT LEAST THREE TIMES A WEEK.
(This is a slight myth. Aerobic exercise is not necessary. Walking a half hour a day is wonderful exercise. Just getting out of the house is wonderful. We hear a lot about a great cardio work out from people trying to sell us this or that, but in China, people suffering from congestive heart failure are taken out of bed at the age of 65, taught Tai Chi (or Qigong), and at 80 they write books on the subject. Opening up the energy pathways to the organs is all the exercise you need, but you need to do it daily. Click here for info on Qigong.)

2. YOU MUST LEARN TO RELAX OR MEDITATE (i.e. LISTEN TO BEAUTIFUL MUSIC, TAKE WARM BATH etc) Cuddle up with a loved one (whether human or a sweet cuddly cat or dog). Animals help you relax and really give you a sense of well-being (in my opinion).
(...and in the eyes of the experts. Not all meditation is done sitting. There is a "Stop Meditation" you can do anywhere, like on your half hour walk. You simply stop, and for a few seconds take in everything around you; the sites, the sounds, the smells. Take it all in with nothing else on your mind.)

3. YOU MUST LAUGH (AT LEAST) ONCE A DAY (AT LEAST!!!!!)

4. BEFORE YOU GO TO SLEEP TELL YOURSELF YOU ARE GOING TO BE OK, YOU WILL BE HEALTHY, YOU ARE WELL and YOU DO NOT HAVE CANCER ANYMORE AND NO--THAT IS NOT HOKEY AND CORNY--IT WILL WORK!!! MIND OVER MATTER! (STUDIES AND RESEARCH KEEP SUPPORTING THE IDEA OF POSITIVE THOUGHTS STRENGTHENING THE IMMUNITY AND GUESS WHAT GETS RID OF CANCER CELLS?? A HEALTHY IMMUNITY!!!! ALSO A LOT OF HEALING GOES ON WHILE SLEEPING--IT IS BEST TO THINK "HAPPY THOUGHTS" BEFORE SLEEP WHICH SETS A POSITIVE STAGE FOR RECOVERY AND REJUVENATION OVERNIGHT!!!
(Positive Affirmations do build the immune system. If you don't know how to make an affirmation, find someone, an audio tape, something to teach you. "I am not sick," is not a positive affirmation if you are battling cancer. It is a lie and your body knows a lie when expressed. "I am healing day by day," is a positive affirmation, and no lie...if you keep it up.)

5. DANCE TO HOT RHYTHMIC LATIN MUSIC AND MIDDLE EASTERN MUSIC AND SHAKE YOUR BODY FOR AT LEAST AN HOUR A DAY!!!

6. YOU ABSOLUTELY AND POSITIVELY MUST HAVE A PURPOSE IN LIFE. YOU MUST BE INTERESTED IN LIFE AND HAVE A GOAL/GOALS. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A GOAL--THEN FIND ONE. IT AUTOMATICALLY ADDS YEARS TO YOUR LIFE!! GET INTO LIFE AND INDULGE...DON'T REFRAIN! GO ON WITH YOUR LIFE AND LIVE LIVE LIVE--DON'T STOP!!!!

7. DRINK A LOT OF WATER!!!!! DRINK AS MUCH AS YOU CAN. IT CLEANS THE SYSTEM! JUST ATTACH A TOILET TO YOUR BOTTOM.
(...unless you're a man and can go anywhere you want. By the way, there are a good number of people on record who reversed their cancer simply by increasing the amount of pure water in their system. Dehydration causes disastrous effects to the body, and after the age of 35 (or so), we lose the ability to tell when our bodies are dehydrated. 64 to 80 ounces of pure water per day is required. Any less than this creates a whole bunch of free radicals (the things antioxidants have to clean up) And consider Alkaline water.
