A guest writer shows how cancer can be treated with
this Ayurvedic spice.
First I must make a confession to all our
readers: Your author/editor is burnt out. It was just 20
years ago I began this quest. I was not in the best health.
Having come from a medical background, I knew that
conventional medicine couldn't help me. I had experience
naturopathy while living overseas. I knew there was more to
health and wellness than a checkup every year and drugs.
Along the way I made some discoveries that
changed my life, and because of letters from readers,
they've made some changes in your lives. When a bug hits, it
no longer knocks me out for 2 to 3 weeks. Because of my
discovery of Del-Immune V, it's gone in just a couple of
hours. In fact, this budding cold and flu season tossed six
bugs my way over the past two months, and Del-Immune V took
care of it all very quickly. One day I came home from tennis
and a trip to the car repair shop. All the way home I had an
itch in the back of my throat and then I started sneezing.
Head was getting stuffed up; a little pressure up there.
When I arrived home I took 10 Del-Immune V caps, lay down
for a while. I awoke an hour and a half later, felt pretty
darn good, and kept my happy hour date with a friend. The
stuff works and it works well.
I've discovered Ron Salley's healing
creams, Omegasentials, and much more that have enriched many
For nearly 16 years I'd been chasing
something someone told me about early on in this quest: a
solution, looks like water, tastes like water, but kills all
pathogens. It's called Covalent Silver Solution. If you
Google that you'll get over 18,000 hits. Many have the same
exact story about it, and some claim to be the inventors.
I finally tracked down the inventor and
now I'm writing a book about the invention, the inventor,
and the long 30 year struggle to get it to the world.
This led me to also finding backers for
this project and many more projects that I could only once
dream about. However, there are forces of evil. What is the
evil? Someone you might have heard of once said, "The love
of money is the root of all evil."
Many of my discoveries have run up against
the forces of evil, because those with the money, who want
to keep that money, and want to avast even more money, don't
like the competition. They've joined forces with the FDA and
FCC to keep the competition down.
Some call this a conspiracy theory. It is
no theory. It is simply the rules of monopolies: take market
share and destroy the competition.
It's business. Medicine and wellness in
our society is a business, and the bottom line of any
business it the "almighty" dollar.
My backers are battling the forces of
evil. However, for the past two years, we've all been living
on the edge of our seats, tempting bankruptcy, while knowing
that tomorrow we'll finally succeed.
Can you imagine living like that for two

I am an avid student of Eckhart Tolle and

I am burnt out.
Yet still, even today as I write these
words, the group backing me assures me that tomorrow (or
very soon this coming week) is our breakthrough.
I will admit, that from the latest
developments, having side stepped the forces of evil, that
we are very close.
We've been remiss in getting out

Major high blood pressure drug causes ‘celiac’
One of the world’s most widely used drugs for high blood
pressure causes serious stomach problems that mimic celiac
disease. Olmesartan – marketed as Olmetec in the UK and
Benicar in the US – can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea,
weight loss and electrolyte abnormalities.
A number of patients had been diagnosed with celiac
disease – when wheat triggers a serious immune reaction –
while olmesartan had been the real culprit, researchers from
the Mayo Clinic have discovered.
Physicians at the clinic treated 22 patients for celiac
disease – with symptoms ranging from chronic diarrhea and
weight loss, including one case of a patient losing 125
pounds – before they realised that olmesartan was to blame.
When the patients were taken off the drug, their symptoms

the drug was increasing the risk of death among people who

Stone fruits combat weight gain, heart disease
Fruits with stones – such as peaches, plums and

The fruits have bioactive compounds that work on

include obesity, inflammation and heart disease.
Researchers from Texas AgriLife say the stone fruits are
unusual because they all contain four major compounds that

Diabetics’ clogged arteries caused by low vitamin
Low vitamin D levels play an essential role in
diabetes—and now researchers have discovered that a
deficiency is the cause of clogged arteries and heart
disease in diabetics.
The vitamin stops the inflammatory process in diabetics,
which involves immune cells binding to blood vessels near
the heart. When there is a vitamin D deficiency, a class of
white blood cells are more likely to stick to cells in the
artery wall, say researchers from the Washington University
School of Medicine in St Louis.
The research team had earlier discovered a direct link
between a vitamin D deficiency and heart disease in
diabetics, but their latest research uncovers the mechanism
that takes place.
The next stage in their studies is to see if high vitamin

Most cancer patients believe chemo will cure—but
Eighty per cent of patients with a cancer that is

wrongly believe the drugs will cure them, researchers have
discovered this week.
Chemotherapy may prolong life by weeks, or even months,
in people whose cancer is spreading—but the patients believe
the treatment will reverse the disease.
Researchers from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
discovered a major miscommunication between the oncologist
and the patient when they interviewed 1,193 patients with
metastatic lung or colorectal cancer.
Four out of five patients believed the chemotherapy would
cure them, even after they had discussed the treatment with
their doctor. Very few of them selected one of the other two
more likely outcomes: that the chemo might extend their
lives or that it might help with some of the symptoms
associated with the cancer.

Mobile phones do cause brain tumours, Italian
Mobile (cell) phones do cause brain tumours, an Italian
court has ruled, a decision that is expected to open the
floodgates to class action suits against manufacturers and
Italy’s Supreme Court in Rome has concluded there is a
direct causal link between extensive mobile phone use and
brain tumours after hearing evidence from two doctors,
oncologist Angelo Gino Levis and neurosurgeon Giuseppe
They testified on behalf of businessman Innocente
Marcolini, 60, who developed a tumour after using a mobile
phone for up to six hours every day for 12 years.
In their testaments, the doctors said that mobile and
cordless phones damage cells, making tumours more likely.
All children and those adults who use the phones extensively
are especially at risk, they say.
Mr Marcolini developed a tumour close to the area where
he consistently held the phone. Although the tumour was
benign, it threatened his life because it had spread to the
carotid artery, which carries blood to the brain. The left
side of his face has been left paralysed, and he has to take
morphine drugs every day to ease the pain.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has classified mobile
phone technology as a class B carcinogen, and urges
restricted use, especially among children.
After the hearing, Prof Levis said: "The court decision
finally officially recognises a link. It will open not a
road but a motorway to legal actions by victims."
The court ruling remains controversial, however. Some
scientists maintain a link between mobile technology and
cancer has not been established, and several extensive
studies have also failed to find a connection. Most of the
studies have been funded by the mobile phone industry,

occurred (according to early studies).

New ‘gentle’ therapy for breast cancer is saving
Doctors are starting to adopt a ‘less is more’ strategy
when it comes to treating breast cancer. Chemotherapy,
radiation and invasive surgery are being abandoned for
gentler approaches that have better cure rates.
Leading the way are oncologists at the Seattle Cancer
Care Alliance (SCCA), who have put together a new blueprint
for breast cancer treatment that other doctors are beginning
Basing their new approach on the latest evidence, the
SCCA method is foregoing chemotherapy for a less toxic
alternative called targeted drug therapy. Up to 50 per cent
of women are expected to benefit from the therapy.
Chemotherapy drugs are also being abandoned for women
with so-called ‘triple negative’ breast cancer, which
doesn’t respond to hormonal therapies. Instead, the SCCA
programme uses a more benign drug family, the PARP
inhibitors. The drugs can also be used on women whose cancer
has been discovered late, and for whom chemotherapy was once
the only option.
High-dose radiation is also a thing of the past for the
SCCA team, who instead are using a technique known as
accelerated partial breast irradiation. This is being
offered to women who have had a second lumpectomy.
Conservative surgery is also being used. Instead of full
breast and lymph node removal, SCCA surgery removes as few
lymph nodes as possible, and also retains the nipples.
Finally, standard mammography is being abandoned for
ultrasound, especially for women under the age of 40. For
others, MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) is favoured over
mammograms, which expose the woman to high doses of

Statin Drug Update

But....finally, a study has just been released that has
yet to hit the mainstream.
Statin Drugs Are Killers:
Statin drugs – designed to protect against heart disease
by lowering cholesterol – are killers, and accelerate
cardiovascular problems, a damning new report has
The drugs harden the main arteries, they are a main cause
of type 2 diabetes in healthy people, and they accelerate
the major health problems in diabetics, say researchers from
the Phoenix Veterans Affairs’ Healthcare System. In short,
the drugs help cause heart disease and death.
They monitored the health of 197 patients with type 2
diabetes and their use of statins. Coronary artery
hardening, or calcification, was far more accelerated in the
patients who were regular statin users compared to those who
took the drugs only occasionally.
Patients who weren’t initially taking a statin quickly
developed aortic artery hardening once they started taking
the drug regularly.
The researchers fear their latest discoveries are but the
tip of an iceberg of statin-associated adverse effects.
Their database lists 300 adverse effects, including the
weakening of the heart and increasing the risk of type 2
diabetes by 48 per cent in post-menopausal women.

seems to help preserve bone density.
Alcohol seems to have the same bone-preserving qualities
as estrogen, and its effects are very significant, say
researchers from the Oregon State University. They studied
40 post-menopausal women who regularly had one or two
alcoholic drinks a day and weren’t taking HRT. Within two
weeks of non-drinking, researchers noticed that the women’s
bone deterioration accelerated, and stopped in less than a
day when they started drinking again.
Exercise and a good diet play a part, too, say the
researchers. The other problem is that this ‘moderate’
amount of alcohol may not be so moderate after all, and
revised safety levels are now suggesting just one small
glass of wine every other day.

SSRI antidepressants cause miscarriage and preterm

long-term neurological problems, including autism, in the
Doctors should prescribe the drugs only with great caution,
if at all, and should explain all the possible risks
to the woman before she agrees to take an SSRI
(selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor), say
researchers from the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical
The research team discovered that there is a very real
risk for pregnant women taking an SSRI—and yet there is
no evidence the drugs even help ease depression.
There’s a strong association between pregnancy and
depression, and an even stronger one among women
undergoing infertility treatment, such as IVF. Around 11
per cent of women having treatment take an SSRI, and it
may even be the drug that is reducing the woman’s
chances of getting pregnant.
If they do succeed, they are more likely to suffer a
miscarriage, and their child could have congenital
abnormalities, such as heart defects that have been
associated with the SSRI, Paxil.
The biggest worry is preterm births, however. More than
30 studies have discovered a direct link to the drug.

Chlorine in water could be major cause of
Most of us have a food allergy or intolerance—and the
culprit could be the chemicals used to chlorinate the public
water supply. The chemical, dichlorophenol, is also found in
pesticides, which we can absorb from the air we breathe and
the food we eat, say researchers.
Researchers have pinpointed the chemical as the most likely
cause of f
ood allergies and intolerances after they discovered
that sufferers had the highest levels of the pollutant
in their body. Of the 2,211 people with high levels of
dichlorophenol analysed in a survey, 411 had a food
allergy—which can sometimes be life-threatening—and
another 1,016 had an environmental allergy, such as hay
However, it’s been estimated that half the population of
the West has food intolerance—often to wheat, milk or
eggs—which is a milder form of allergy where there is
discomfort and difficulty in digesting the food. This,
too, could be caused by the chemical.
The chemical is extensively used to chlorinate the water
supply we get from our taps (faucets) and in pesticides.
So, even changing to bottled water may not do the trick,
say researchers from the American College of Allergy,
Asthma and Immunology. It’s also found on the fruit and
vegetable we eat—unless, of course, you eat organic.

A few facts concerning Fluoride:
A Harvard meta-analysis funded by the National Institutes
of Health (NIH) has concluded that water fluoridation
significantly lowers IQ scores in children, and may be a
neurotoxicant that affects brain development
More than 23 human studies and 100 animal studies have
linked fluoride to brain damage
Fluoride has immunosuppressive effects at low dosages,
which can raise your risk of chronic disease, including
cancer. Long-lost research linking fluoride to cancer has
resurfaced in a Dutch film clip featuring Dr. Dean Burk,
co-founder of the US National Cancer Institute and head of
its cytochemistry department for over 30 years. In a taped
interview, he equates water fluoridation to public murder.
In 1945, "Program F" is implemented by the U.S. Atomic
Energy Commission (AEC). This is the most extensive U.S.
study of the health effects of fluoride, which was the key
chemical component in atomic bomb production. One of the
most toxic chemicals known to man, fluoride, it is found,
causes marked adverse effects to the central nervous system
but much of the information is squelched in the name of
national security because of fear that lawsuits would
undermine full-scale production of atomic bombs.
"Fluoridation is the greatest case of scientific fraud of
this century." - Robert Carlton, Ph.D, former EPA scientist,
Launching a lawsuit against the very company that is
responsible for a farmer suicide every 30 minutes, 5 million
farmers are now suing Monsanto for as much as 6.2 billion
euros (around 7.7 billion US dollars). The reason? As with
many other cases, such as the ones that led certain farming
regions to be known as the ‘suicide belt’, Monsanto has been
reportedly taxing the farmers to financial shambles with
ridiculous royalty charges. The farmers state that Monsanto
has been unfairly gathering exorbitant profits each year on
a global scale from "renewal" seed harvests, which are crops
planted using seed from the previous year’s harvest.
The practice of using renewal seeds dates back to ancient
times, but Monsanto seeks to collect massive royalties and
put an end to the practice. Why? Because Monsanto owns the
very patent to the genetically modified seed, and is
charging the farmers not only for the original crops, but
the later harvests as well. Eventually, the royalties
compound and many farmers begin to struggle with even
keeping their farm afloat. It is for this reason that India
slammed Monsanto with groundbreaking ’bio-piracy’ charges in
an effort to stop Monsanto from ‘patenting life’.
Jane Berwanger, a lawyer for the farmers who went on
record regarding the case, told the Associated Press:
"Monsanto gets paid when it sell the seeds. The law gives
producers the right to multiply the seeds they buy and
nowhere in the world is there a requirement to pay (again).
Producers are in effect paying a private tax on production."
The findings echo what thousands of farmers have
experienced in particularly poor nations, where many of the
farmers are unable to stand up to Monsanto. Back in 2008,
the Daily Mail covered what is known as the ‘GM Genocide’,
which is responsible for taking the lives of over 17,683
Indian farmers in 2009 alone. After finding that their
harvests were failing and they started to enter economic
turmoil, the farmers began ending their own lives —
oftentimes drinking the very same insecticide that Monsanto
provided them with.
As the information continues to surface on Monsanto’s
crimes, further lawsuits will begin to take effect. After it
was ousted in January that Monsanto was running illegal
‘slave-like’ working rings, more individuals became aware of
just how seriously Monsanto seems to disregard their workers
— so why would they care for the health of their consumers?
In April, another group of farmers sued Monsanto for
‘knowingly poisoning’ workers and causing ‘devastating birth

His mother can do no wrong and anyone who dares to attack

One problem with the conservative love of

Condoleezza Rice gave an interesting

in order to make conclusions.
The experiment is over, friends. It’s

that person would have to be a politician with no knowledge
whatsoever of the scientific method.
America’s history, what is

Any experiment that has to go three full rounds is a bit
Three times have the moneyed powers
usurped political power in this country: once during the
Golden Age in the 1880s, then in the Roaring Twenties, and
again today. Each time we had a boom, followed by a bust
that left the masses in a depression while the wealthy, the
true wealthy, profited.
The experiment is over. We know what
happens when a political democracy is controlled by an
oligarchy, or a monied oligarchy known politically as a
plutocracy. We’ve seen the results three times.
The odd thing is we’ve been warned by
conservative thinkers that democracy ends because of the
common people, not the wealthy:
A democracy cannot exist as a
permanent form of government. It can only exist until
the voters discover that they can vote themselves money
from the Public Treasury. From that moment on, the
majority always votes for the candidate promising the
most benefits from the Public Treasury with the result
that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal
policy always followed by dictatorship.

This, however, is never how we’ve failed.
It’s not the socialists we’ve had to fear, but the moneyed
capitalists. Even Jefferson warned us:
I hope we shall crush in its birth
the aristocracy of our monied corporations which dare
already to challenge our government to a trial by
strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country.
Some people want us to fear everything but
the free market. However,
did not grow exceptional just because our free market. As
pointed out above, the free market, without constraints, has
crashed our economy three times in our history. The middle
class got poorer while the wealthy got wealthier. Even Adam
Smith, the Father of Capitalism knew that capitalism needed
regulations and that those at that top need to pay the most
back to the society that allowed them to make and hold their
wealth. But when the wealthy want everything, they put the
fear of God in us by screaming: SOCIALISM.
One of the people I follow on Twitter has
the perfect saying: Give Ron Paul a fish and he’ll eat for a
day. Teach Ron Paul to fish and he’ll call you a socialist.
The one question that determines who you
are politically is this: Do you live in a “me” society or a
gained its exceptionalism because we worked together. Yes,
there is such a thing as individualism and genius. These are
the creative types who develop new technologies.
We are multi-cultural, with our population
always growing from immigration. It was this coming together
of workers, capitalists, and the creative that resulted in
our exceptionalism. We were the first country to produce
those two geniuses who made the first flight; that same
country that put the first people on the moon. We invented
the transistor. We invented the silicon chip.
This is where we arrive at the purpose of
this paper: Health
Care. For being so exceptional, we were, for the longest
time, in respects to our health care system, exceptional in
that our people had no health care; we were one of two
developed countries in which a family could go bankrupt over
health care bills (South Africa being the other; they have a
dual system: one for the wealthy and one, under funded and
under staffed, for the rest.)
We were told by the mouthpieces of the
wealthy that universal health care is socialism. Every
opponent to universal healthcare pointed to the faults in
the Canadian system, the British system, the French system.
No system is perfect. But exaggerating the
problems in other countries doesn’t help our country’s
situation at all and avoids the simple question: if we are
so exceptional, how come we have no health care system for
This situation overwhelmingly begs the
question: If we are so exceptional, then why must we accept
a system of some other country?
If we know their faults, and we are truly
exceptional, why can’t we make the best health care system
of them all, incorporating what works and tossing out what
This is true American exceptionalism. This
is what we are capable of and because we can do it, we must.
If you believe in American exceptionalism,
then you must believe that we can do this better than
anyone. If you believe we live in a “we” society, then you
know we must do it. If you believe in military readiness,
then you must believe that every person must be ready to do
his/her part and must be healthy enough to do so.
The American public is, at this point in
time, exceptionally unhealthy. We are overweight, suffering
through an epidemic of diabetes. We are exceptional in how
many prisoners we have locked up, the number of teen
pregnancies, total crimes, total rapes, and total divorces.
This is not the American exceptionalism
the chauvinists speak of, but it’s the
we’ve got because we’ve turned away from what had made us
exceptional in the first place: a mixture of people, hope,
and creativity working
Politics have split up America more than I’ve ever seen in
