that only about 26% is saturated. The rest is unsaturated, of
which more than half is polyunsaturated.

Every year, your government gives away
to the wealthy more than enough money to pay for health care
for every person who goes without it, and more, much much more.
Every American must read this book. David Kay Johnston is a
Pulitzer Prize winning investigative journalist.
Hot Topic: Single-Payer
Universal Health Care The most
important issue of your life.
“America's
health care system is neither healthy, caring, nor a system.”
Walter Cronkite
We are told
Single-Payer Health Care is off the table, that it cannot possibly
get enough votes. Even President Obama, who while he was Senator
Obama and in favor of single-payer, has changed his mind. Even
President Obama can be bought.
Ironically,
many do not know what single-payer is, yet it is quite simple:
There is only ONE payer: the government.
Republicans
call this Socialized Medicine;
the stuff we’ve been warned of since the late fifties.
My father
was a physician. He told me that socialized medicine would destroy
our medicine. However, this was before HMOs, insurance companies,
the AMA, the FDA, and Pharmaceutical interests destroyed medicine.
This was before we began paying billions to the CEOs
of HMOs.
It is not
socialized medicine. It is publicly funded, privately delivered
health care. It is health care that is not profit based. Thank
God.
Today over
15,000 physicians (many Republican physicians too) and health
care workers want single-payer Health Care. A majority of nurses
want single-payer.
Why?
The answer
is simple: They want to practice medicine. They don’t
want to sit around on the phone for hours arguing with an insurance
agent about what procedures they can or cannot perform.
Consider
this: the ONLY change in medical care will be who pays. Instead
of the insurance company paying for your care, the government
will be paying. This is the ONLY change in health care. You
will get the doctor of your choice. You will get the medicine
you need. And if you are on vacation, 1000 miles from home and
you need a doctor, you’ll get it, and nobody will ask you if
you have insurance.
This one
simple change has set the US topsy-turvy. Right wing talking
heads have turned up the volume; senators are pleading with
us to keep the government out of health care; network television
has played half hour programs decrying socialized medicine and
how it will destroy us.
“Don’t let
government takeover of medicine kill the best health care system
in the world!”
In past
issues we have debunked a lot of the crazy stuff circulating
the web and the country. The massive attack on single-payer
is one issue that must be debunked and debunked thoroughly.
Why?
Because
there are TRILLIONS of dollars that stand to be lost.
Not millions,
not billions; trillions.
Trillions
of dollars stand between YOU and your RIGHT to Health Care,
and you will be lied to in Technicolor over and over and over
until you drink the Kool-Aid. Expect the opposition to wheel
out someone who’s been screwed over by the Canadian health care
system (who says we have to adopt theirs?) to prove that Universal
Health Care is bad for us. Expect the battle to get dirty and
every person associated with Universal Health care to be slandered.
Expect the worst. That’s what greed brings out; the worst in
human beings.
One has to ask himself why every
Republican in Washington is against Universal Health
Care.
Besides the obvious money issues and
the Republican bent of supporting corporations over
individuals, there is one reason that seems to fly under
the radar:
In England, the party that passed
Universal Health Care stayed in power for 40 years.
If the Democrats pass Universal Health
Care, the Republican party will be insignificant for
an entire generation.
It is hard to fathom why any Democrat
would not want to push through Universal Health Care.
My guess would be a lack of spine.
“I belong to no organized party. I am
a Democrat.” Will Rogers
The following
video is a segment of the movie Network. Apparently, after Barak
Obama was elected, someone sat him down and gave him this same
speech.
"… you have
meddled with the primal forces of nature, and you will atone!"
And yes,
health care is a right. It’s something that is given quite freely
to the persons we elect to represent us. It is NOT a privilege
to represent us; it is not an honor. It is a mandate, by the
people, that those we’ve sent to Washington represent the will
of the people. When a representative of the people gets health
care, this is proof enough that health care is a right.
We are the
only industrialized nation on the planet that doesn’t
have Single-Payer, Universal Health Care. We are the only nation
in which a person can go bankrupt (over 50% of bankruptcies
are caused by medical bills) because of medical bills, even if you have insurance. In most countries with
Single-Payer, it is illegal to sell the type of medical
insurance offered in this country.
Your representatives
and even your president have been bought and paid for on this
issue of health care. Senator Max Baucus of Montana has received
more money from the insurance and health care industry than
any other Democrat; is there any question why Single-Payer was
not on the table when his hearings began? Is there any question
why nurses went to jail forcing Baucus to hear their point of
view on Single-Payer?
Why aren’t single-payer advocates allowed to testify before
Baucus’ committee? Follow the money. Campaign donations explain
why, and demonstrate that the Senate Finance Committee should
not be in charge of health care. Senator Reid should remove
the health care reform bill from Baucus and start all over before
the Health Committee in the Senate.
Here’s why Baucus is not doing the people's business:
According to OpenSecrets.org, over his career he has taken donations
from:
The Insurance Industry: $1,170,313
Health Professionals: $1,016,276
Pharmaceuticals/Health Products Industry: $734,605
Hospitals/Nursing Homes: $541,891
Health Services/HMOs: $439,700
That is a grand total of $3,902,785. Can we trust Baucus to
put aside the profits of the industries that have kept him in
the Senate? Will he put the people’s necessities ahead of the
profits of his contributors? Baucus has shown his bias and should
be removed from leading the health care reform effort by the
Democratic Party leadership.
In 2008 Baucus had virtually no challenger in Montana. A little-known
Republican was on the ballot, and Baucus won with 73% of the
vote. But, Baucus sought big donations from big business anyway.
He used his connections to corporations with business before
his committee to raise an immense campaign fund of more than
$11 million. In 2008, 91% of his donations come from individuals
living outside of Montana, which is why he is more the “Senator
for K Street” then the Senator for Montana. Corporate health
profiteers who invested in Baucus will now benefit from his
stewardship over health care reform. His 2008 donations from
health care profiteers included:
Insurance: $592,185
Health Professionals: $537,141
Pharmaceuticals/Health Products: $524,813
Health Services/HMOs: $364,500
Hospitals/Nursing Homes: $332,826
That is $1,826,652 Baucus took from these industries, and now
he can reward them by deforming health care reform.
The health care profiteers knew that Baucus would determine
their fate and ponied up. Now the only thing standing between
them and their payback is a single-payer national health care
plan. Yet single-payer, which would end private insurance and
control the cost of pharmaceutical drugs, is not being considered—not
even allowed to participate in the conversation before Baucus.
It is not just the chairman of the committee who has received
massive donations. The full Finance Committee is a gluttonous
embarrassment of campaign pay-offs. In 2008 the committee members
received a total of $13,263,986 from industries affected by
health care reform. Can we trust this committee to put the interests
of the people before their donors?
The donations to the Finance Committee in 2008 included:
Insurance: $5,103,900
Pharmaceuticals/Health Products: $3,308,831
Hospitals/Nursing Homes: $2,809,353
Health Services/HMOs: $2,041,902
These industries expect to be rewarded with billions, even trillions,
in profits and hundreds of millions in corporate welfare. Senator
Baucus’s behavior shows they have made a good investment—they've
bought themselves a senator who should be called Chairman Blagojevich.
He is doing his best to make sure the single-payer message is
not heard because he knows it is the fairest, most efficient
and cost-effective way to ensure health care access for all
Americans—but he can't let that be implemented because it would
put some of his donors out of business and control the profits
of others.
It is time to remove Baucus from the leadership of health care
reform. It is time to move the critically important priority
of reforming America’s health care system from the Finance Committee
and put it before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions
Committee. At least their mission is health care, not money.
Kevin Zeese is the executive director of the FreshAirCleanPolitics.net,
which is urging a single-payer national health care system as
part of its ProsperityAgenda.US project. Along with seven others,
Zeese was arrested when he testified from the audience of a
recent Senate Finance Committee meeting on health care. See
the video on YouTube.
We can only
pray that any new health care bill will include spine transplants
for Democrats.
Everyone
in Washington feels that if they want to get re-elected, they’re
going to need the support of, the money of, the health care
industry (HMOs, insurance companies, the AMA, and the Pharmaceutical
Industry).
“Members of Congress are the
only people in the world expected to take large amounts of money
from strangers and then act as if it has no effect on their
behavior.” Bill Moyers
Yet this
one issue is big enough to get anyone re-elected, including
the president without any money from the health care industry.
In fact, the most beloved politician in Canada is Lester B Pearson,
the Prime Minister who brought Universal Health Care to Canada.
Barak Obama
could go down in history as the most beloved President in our
history over this one single issue. But when he tells us that
if only we were starting from scratch, Single-Payer would make
more sense, we know that he's thinking about the insurance industry;
we can't just ruin the insurance industry no matter how many
people die because they've turned them down for procedures.
“When
a Democrat runs on change, the only change we'll get after
the election is he becomes more like a Republican.”
Anonymous
This next
election, coming up in less than 17 months, should be a single
issue election: health care. But there is a slight problem:
to keep money out of health care, we have to keep money out
of our election process.
You see,
for progressive candidates to get elected (those representatives
who work for the people interests), they need money. To get
that money, they have to pander to special interests, and not
the interests of the people. So, this next election will be
a two issue election: take the money out of both the health
care system and the election process. And it is going to be
tough, because when money is involved, when greed is motivation,
expect lies, deception, and hypocrisy to rise to the realm of
sainthood.
Money Talks
― Universal Health Care Walks
To someone
who has lost everything because of medical bills there is no
left or right, no Liberal, no Conservative. There is only the
pain of losing everything.
If health
care costs continue to rise at their current rates, it will
cost $24,000 a year to insure a family of four by 2016,
an 84 percent increase from today. At these rates, half
of American households would have to spend at least 45 percent
of their income to be insured. (Congressional Hearings 2008)
A majority
of health care workers, a majority of Americans, wants Single-Payer,
Universal Health Care. Screw bi-partisanship. The American public
has voted. Let it be known that the American public expects
their representatives and their president to work for them and
not for the insurance companies, the pharmaceutical companies,
and the HMOs.
When the
Republicans had a smaller majority than the Democrats have today,
they rammed their agenda down the throats of the American people.
They put Justice Roberts on the Supreme Court; a judge who in
his career on the bench always ruled against any individual
who was up against a corporation. They rammed false intelligence
and an illegal war down our throats; tax breaks to the wealthy;
extreme rendition and torture; a complete agenda that most Americans
felt was un-American was rammed down our throats.
The Democrats
have a majority. The people have spoken. Screw bipartisanship.
It’s time to ram Single-Payer Health Care down the throats of
the Republicans.
Yet many
Democrats, including the President (who called for Single-Payer
Health Care on the campaign trail, June 29th
2008), are backing away from Single-Payer. Obviously, something
is wrong when major changes to the ridiculous Medicare Part
D have yet to come about.
Within his
first hundred days, President Obama could have reversed the
rule that disallowed the government from negotiating with drug
companies.
Apparently
“Yes We Can” didn’t actually mean “Yes We Will.”

Note: Bill Maher got it right, twice in a row, in his New Rules.
They are posted below in Tid Bits: New Rules.
We must
let our representatives know: If a Republican wants to get re-elected,
vote YES on Single-Payer Health Care. If a Democrat wants to
get re-elected, vote YES on Single-Payer Health Care. If an
Independent wants to get re-elected, vote YES on Single-Payer
Health Care.
Health care
to be true health care must be non profit. The bottom line for
any profit based industry is profit. This is a simple fact.
True health care must be non profit.
We can do
this. We just have to get on the phones, write letters, write
emails, and keep on our representatives. We can do this.
Debunk
This!
·The US has the
best health care system in the world.
This is
pure bunk. Flag waving chauvinists constantly tell us: “We’re
number one! We’re number one,” even if we’ve done nothing to
prove it or earn it.
The American
health care system is the most expensive system in the world,
yet the World Health Organization ranks us 37th in
the world.
In infant
mortality, out of the 38 industrialized nations, we’re 33rd,
very near the bottom.
Chauvinists
who proclaim that our modern medicine is why the average longevity
in America grows each year are blowing smoke; in the past two
years, our longevity figures have begun to shrink.
·Government takeover
of health care.
The far
right likes to play with words. They took the Inheritance Tax
and renamed it the Death Tax. Smart move. Most Americans will
never see an inheritance, but they’ll see death, and suddenly
more people are worried about this tax that won’t ever affect
them.
“Single-payer”
has become “Government Takeover,” and that sounds really bad.
The government “paying” for health care doesn’t sound that bad;
but the government taking over health care; well, we all know
that’s bad.
I heard
a Republican ask the other day if we wanted the government bureaucracy
that brought us Katrina bringing us health care.
I always
smile when a Republican is stupid enough to bring up Katrina.
So let’s look at the myth he’s trying to promulgate:
·Government bureaucracy
is always inefficient.
The implication
of this statement is that private corporations are much more
efficient than government agencies. This has led to privatization.
However, privatization is just another term for profitization,
and there goes all the savings a private corporation could ever
have over government agencies.
Yes, we
all know about government bureaucracy. We’ve all stood in line
at the DMV. We all know the stories of the military handing
out winter clothes in the summer. But for every person who’s
ever stood in line at the DMV, there are 1000 elderly getting
their Social Security checks on time from a government agency,
delivered to these people by another government agency, the
post office. For every soldier who’s ever gotten winter clothing
in the summer time, there are thousands of hungry children getting
hot meals because of a government agency. Yes, bureaucracy can
be inefficient, but the only thing single-payer will change,
once again, is who pays. The government pays. That’s it.
Ironically,
the bureaucracy and paperwork of private insurance now eats
up 30% of our health care dollars.
A “streamlined”
single-payer system can save more than $350 billion yearly.
Take the profit out of the system, and the savings is mind boggling.
·Higher taxes,
longer waits, rationed care, substandard care.
We’re going
have to take these one at a time.
Higher
taxes: perhaps. Taxes
might go up, but insurance rates will drop. It’s a wash.
Sadly, because
the previous administration took the tax burden off the wealthy
and heaped it onto the backs of the middle class, it is the
middle class who have been paying for the war in Iraq. England
realized a very simple concept: if we can pay to kill people,
we should be able to pay to heal people.
We truly
need to put the tax burden on the shoulders of those who have
received the most from society. They should be paying for our
health care, especially since we’ve paid for “their” war.
As for higher
costs, in the long run, universal health care in the US will
be so much cheaper, especially for businesses. New businesses
will be able to start up while existing businesses can flourish.
People will become more mobile; they’ll be able to leave an
existing job and hunt for a better, more suitable job knowing they can’t lose their health care.
Longer
waits: interviews
and polls from Canada, Sweden, England, France, etc. all show
that the wait times after incorporating single-payer got shorter.
Why? because the average wait time in the emergency rooms just
went down.
Have you
ever had to go to urgent care? I took a friend in with a migraine.
We waited over an hour and a half.
Yes, some
systems have seen a slow down, but I happen to be a recipient
of socialized health care already from the Veterans Administration,
and I’ve also visited an HMO.
Since they’ve
streamlined the VA, I’ve never waited more than five minutes
past my appointment time to see my physician. My one trip to
an HMO I waited 45 minutes past the scheduled appointment to
see the doctor. So much for that myth.
Rationed
Care: this was debunked
on a recent
Bill Moyers Journal when he interviewed two physicians.
They both agreed that we have enough medical care in the country
to handle everyone for a long time. They admitted that somewhere
down the line, as the population grows, we might have to do
something, but right now, every patient will get the care they
need, and NO insurance man will stand in the way.
Substandard
Care: we are told by many that when they were in the military they got substandard
care. It’s funny, sitting in a temporary building in need of
painting, how the care just seems substandard to having your
own hospital room with cable TV and hot and cold running nurses.
I have never
in my life received substandard care in a military of veteran’s
hospital. In fact, I’ve received better and faster care than
when I spent $300 to visit a doctor friend of mine at an HMO.
·Universal healthcare
would be exactly that. If Republicans point out that any universal
healthcare scheme would include heroin addicts, meth heads and
others who brought their health problems on themselves through
poor individual decisions, independents and moderates would
reconsider supporting Obama's plan. Who likes the idea of their
tax dollars being spent on the health of junkies?
Funny thing,
but we already pay for junkies. We pay to have them hunted down,
arrested, jailed, rehabilitated, and then the spiral starts
over. We are already paying for them.
Sadly, the
war on drugs is a waste of time and money. In countries where
drugs have been either decriminalized or legalized, drug usage
just goes down, and the costs to the taxpayers shrinks dramatically.
Every single
objection to single-payer Health Care is a bogus argument FINANCED
by the industries that stand to lose TRILLIONS. This is a simple
fact, and sadly, everyone in Washington, including our president,
has been paid off.
And the
really good thing about Single-Payer Health Care is if you want to
pay for your own doctor on your own time at your own convenience,
you can. Nobody is stopping you.
From the Los Angeles Times
Under the plan, negotiated primarily by Senate
Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.),
hospitals would accept $155 billion in cuts if
the administration and its congressional allies
succeeded in extending health insurance to tens
of millions of people who are now without
coverage.
And...
In June, the Pharmaceutical Research and
Manufacturers of America announced that its
members would provide $80 billion worth of
discounts on medications for seniors and others
who rely on government health insurance programs
such as Medicare.
These
negotiations are very telling. The health care
industry is admitting that they have been ripping
off the American public to the tune of billions.
Profit driven medicine has created the most
expensive, and most dysfunctional health care system
in the world. Our system is ranked 37th in the world
today and yet we pay the most.
According to the
Consumer's Union, "Right now, [the health care
industry is] spending $1.4 million per day on
lobbyists to make sure your Senators hear exactly
why they need more of your health care dollars."
What
to do? Grass Roots!
We make
the next election a SINGLE ISSUE election. Thirty-nine million
voting age adults lack health insurance. Millions more have
health insurance they cannot afford. Millions more are underinsured.
Millions upon millions have been turned down for procedures
they need. Hundreds of thousands have died because they had
health insurance but could not get the procedures they need.
The majority
of Americans want single-payer Health Insurance. This is a fact.
The majority of health care workers want single-payer.
The problem
is money. Our representatives will not have enough money to
get re-elected and represent us if they support single-payer.
The New
Revolution: Get out the vote!
In just
17 short months, every seat in the House will be up for re-election.
Call your representative and tell them, firmly, respectfully,
that you will support ONLY a candidate that is firmly behind
single-payer. It’s that simple.
Get out,
talk to neighbors, make sure everyone calls their representatives
and candidates and make them completely aware that this next
election is a SINGLE ISSUE election: single-payer, Universal
Health Care and ultimately Campaign Finance Reform.
We need
to push for public campaign financing and take the money out
of the system of politics. We have to level the playing field,
and this one issue, health care, has made it blindingly obvious
that our representatives represent those who pay for their campaigns
and not their constituents.
Seventy-three
percent of Americans want a public option that will create Universal
Health Care. The majority of physicians and nurses want Universal
Health Care. The AMA doesn’t want Universal Health Care but
they’ve not polled their doctors.
Six out of
ten Americans are willing to pay more in taxes for Universal
Health Care. Some think we should roll back the Bush Tax Cuts,
but rolling back all the way to the Reagan Tax Cuts will not
only pay for health care, it will begin to pay to rebuild our
infrastructure.
But the Times/CBS
poll found 85 percent of respondents wanted major healthcare
reforms and most would be willing to pay higher taxes to
ensure everyone had health insurance. An estimated 46 million
Americans currently have no coverage. [Reuters]
The Democratic
Party, the one that supposedly represents the little guy (there
are more little guys than big guys in the world) holds the White
House, the Senate, and the House of Representatives. Yet they
tell us that single-payer is off the table because it won’t
get enough support.
This is
a bold faced lie. The only thing between us and Single-Payer,
Universal Health Care right now is us. We must demand it. We
must march in the streets. We must call each individual from
Congress who is up for re-election and demand they put single-payer
back on the table, or say good bye to Washington.
Throw the
bums out. Throw Max Baucus out. Throw Barak Obama out. Throw
out all those who refuse to represent the will of the people.
If single-payer
goes away, we have only ourselves to blame.

If you are having problems with
losing weight (we know sticking to a diet can be difficult),
then this message will be the most important message you
will ever read.
Here's why:

These hypnosis sessions allow
them to follow the advice of their dieticians almost effortlessly,
even with their hectic schedules.
She has had great success in
working with people who have problems following their eating
and exercise plans . . . the plans that they KNOW they need
to use in order to get to and maintain their ideal weights.
Although she has worked with
some celebrities we cannot name, she has also helped normal
people finally gain control over cravings that they never
believed they would overcome.
Ann Carlo from Sag Harbor, New
York is an example:
"Enjoying Weight Loss
is fabulous. Thought I forgot all about it yesterday, until
I realized that I ate breakfast (which I rarely do), drank
a lot of water, had a veggie dinner and DIDN'T EAT ANY SUGAR
. . . A MIRACLE! Can't convince me that this system does
not operate on some level . . . even though you're not always
conscious of it at the time."
This is not the typical weight
loss program that you might be used to seeing. It is not
a "diet" or a "workbook" and it won't try to psychoanalyze
you with a bunch of "inner child" mumbo-jumbo..
It is straight clinical hypnosis
from the author of Medical Hypnosis, the first
hypnosis textbook used in medical schools.
Here are some of the amazing
things you will learn when you go through Dr. Temes' seven-session
program:
How to stop your cravings
instantaneously, allowing you to stop binging before
you start.
How to get off the diet
roller coaster. (Learn how to move from being a "dieter"
to being someone who is permanently healthy.)
How to create new neural
pathways that empower you to replace unhealthy eating
habits with healthy ones.
Why willpower will not work
long term, and how to create effortless motivation.
How to eliminate your desire
for sodas and replace them with a craving for WATER!
And that's just a tiny fraction
of what you'll learn how to do in this 4-CD audio program.
The best part about this program
is that it uses hypnosis, so there are no guidebooks or
things you are supposed to do later. All you do is spend

P.S. This program is recommended
by doctors, trainers, and dieticians who use it to help
their clients with diet adherence:
"I have been using the Enjoying
Weight Loss program with my patients who tell me they
don't even think about 'bad' food anymore . . . it's just
a fact in their mind. They find it easy to change self-destructive
behavior and 'stay with the program' that I recommend. This
has always been my biggest challenge as a clinician."
Editor's Note:
We've reviewed these CDs and found them absolutely marvelous.
Weight loss has to be a life style change, not just a diet.
As I write these words, however, I'm testing a substance
that has proven to help lose body fats in clinical studies.
It's called
Irvingia gabonensis
and
is the subject of the next article.
Everyone seeks the magic pill to weight
loss. There is none. We just have to stop killing ourselves
with the Standard American Diet. Oh, and ask your doctor
if getting off your ass is right for you!
But then one of our affiliates sent me
some samples and asked me to try them.
Instead of trying them, I searched for
studies on the substance, Irvingia gabonensis from
Africa, and sure enough, it's been tested.
Long story short, in a double blind study,
ten weeks after the start, the average weight loss in the
experimental group was 28 pounds. These people made no lifestyle
changes at all.
To top it off, the group taking Irvingia
gabonensis brought their HDL and LDL into a healthier
balance, lowered their C-reactive Protein (an indication
of inflammation
and the main culprit behind cardiovascular disease), and
they lowered their fasting blood sugar rates.
There is much more to learn about this
substance. I found a medical paper explaining the science
behind it, but the results are still coming in, and we'll
handle this in a future edition. For now, our friends at
Body Building dot com have a darn good price on it:
Editor's
Note: I've been trying this product for just a few weeks.
I'm really surprised. Without changing my routine, the belly
fat is dropping off.
Flu
Update Forget the hype, you can beat
it easily.
It's hard
to believe the words Tamiflu came out of President Obama's mouth
when the world was freaking out over this new flu bug. That
stuff will kill you quicker than the flu.
With news
flowing 24/7, they have
to create hype just to create viewers, thus we had pandemic
on our hands.
When the
hype began building, we sent out a letter to our readers linking
them to a few pages at this site to help them beat the flu.
We also found some more interesting links to sites that described
how our government is experimenting with new bugs. Just what
we need.
We also told
our readers about Del-Immune V™.
So, to save
us all time, I'm going to link you all again, and then tell
you how I finally, after 19 years of searching, found a cure
for the common cold.
A lot of readers have thanked us for our Super Mayo recipe. They’ve
discovered that healthy can actually taste good. However, sometimes
you just don’t have the time or energy to make your own, and
we’ve found a Mayo that is almost as perfect as ours.
REMOVED BY FDA Naturals has just introduced their organic mayo.
The three oils used to create it are: Certified Organic,
(Raw) Centrifuged Extra Virgin Olive Oil;
Certified Organic, (Raw) Unrefined
Sesame Seed Oil; Certified Organic, (Raw) Centrifuged Extra
Virgin Coconut Oil.
They sent us a bottle to review, and we liked it. In fact, when we
made our own mayo the next time, we decided to try their combo
of oils. Worked out great.
The only thing missing in this mayo are your omega-3s. Omega-3 EFAs
are really hard to work with and deal with. They go bad quickly
and you have to be very careful with anything you make using
them.
But, in the end, this mayo from REMOVED BY FDA Naturals is just
plain good, and healthy. When you can’t make your own, have
some on hand!

People still write
to us concerning EpiCor asking if there is a cheaper way to
get it. When it first came out, it was pricey and then Dr David
Williams (from the newsletter Alternatives) recommended everyone
go out and buy Diamond V XPC instead since it was ridiculously
cheaper. Little did I know he’d just sent some 200 people to
my site where they all sent me donations for a baggy full.
Well, the price of
EpiCor has come down. Other companies are manufacturing it,
and we’ve found one of the best (see below).
As for Diamond V
XPC, they’ve come out with an organic form. This year, my chix
got the organic form: Diamond V XPC Green. Additionally, they
are getting Covalent Silver Solution, and their first week I
gave them some Del-Immune V™.
I’m happy to report
that we lost the fewest number of baby chicks this year than
ever before. One arrived dead, and two died the next day. One
was very weak and died two days later. After that, nothing.
Normally around the second or third week, something hits (some
bug) and I can lose anywhere from half a dozen to a dozen.
Incorporating Diamond V
XPC initially cut back on loses. Adding Covalent Silver Solution
to their water this year helped three chicks that were showing
signs of illness (lethargy), and the Del-Immune V was just another
safe guard.
Dr Jonathan Wright, MD sent
out a piece on EpiCor that is worth viewing:
So, this little update is
just to inform you that we’ve found an inexpensive form of EpiCor;
I have
Diamond V XPC Green for
anyone who wants some for a donation to the Wellness Directory;

Problem Drugs Ask your doctor if multiple
side effects are right for you!
The FDA releases its Drug Safety Newsletter
quarterly. It's got some interesting reading.
The latest issue tells us that the drug Reclast,
an osteoporosis treatment, has caused some 24 cases of kidney
"impairment" with a few cases of "acute kidney failure" all
reported over the past two years.
The fix for this, at least what they are
telling physicians, is that they should make sure their patients
are "adequately hydrated" before they get their Reclast infusion.
The best fix is to avoid the drug, get plenty
of vitamin D, eat dark green veggies, make sure that half your
fat intake is saturated, and if you have to supplement, try
a true bone calcium (which comes with magnesium, boron, and
everything healthy bones need).
Oh, and avoid Heartburn Drugs. For your body
to take in calcium, you need stomach acid. Read our articles
on digestion, but avoid these drugs.
Here's an article from Reuters (Go
to Original) I just found on the web:
CHICAGO (Reuters)
- Even short-term use of popular acid-reducing heartburn
drugs may raise the risk of hip fractures, U.S. researchers
said on Monday.
The increased risks appeared two years after patients started
taking proton pump inhibitors such as Takeda Pharmaceutical
Co's Prevacid and histamine-2 receptor antagonists, or H2RAs,
such as GlaxoSmithKline's Zantac, researchers at Kaiser
Permanente San Francisco told the Digestive Disease Week
meeting in Chicago.
Other proton pump inhibitors include AstraZeneca's Nexium
and Prilosec, Wyeth's Protonix and Eisai Co Ltd's Aciphex.
A study in August's Canadian Medical Association Journal
suggested long-term use of proton pump inhibitors -- for
at least five years -- may raise the risk of hip fractures.
Dr. Douglas Corley, who led the study, said in a statement
"the increased risk with short-term use of acid-suppressing
drugs suggests that even relatively brief periods of use
may be associated with increased risk of hip fractures."
He said patients taking acid blockers should continue treatment
at the lowest effective dose, but people at risk of osteoporosis
should talk to their doctor about other treatment options.
For the study, Corley and colleagues analyzed data on nearly
40,000 patients taking acid-reducing drugs, and compared
them to more than 130,000 patients not taking the drugs.
Patients who had hip fractures were 30 percent more likely
to have taken proton pump inhibitors for at least two years,
and 18 percent more likely to have taken H2RAs for at least
two years.
Risks were lower in people who had taken lower doses.
Those who took less than one pill a day had a 12 percent
increase in fracture risk. Patients who took one pill per
day had a 30 percent increased risk, while those who took
more than one pill a day had a 41 percent higher risk.
People aged 50 to 59 who had been on proton pump inhibitors
for more than two years had the biggest increase in fracture
risk with taking the drugs, they said.
Another Great
FDA Page
The
Adverse Event Reporting System is also available online.
Take a look and you'll find that Xenical, a prescription strength
weight loss drug is toxic to the liver. There is an over the
counter version called Alli.
The FDA does NOT tell you to stop using these
drugs. They hardly ever do that, but remember, these are not
supplements, they're drugs. Were they supplements, they'd be
banned in a New York minute.
Lantus (artificial insulin)
Released 7-1-09, the FDA has published
that three out of four studies show an increased risk of
cancer in diabetics using Lantus.
In
a new study funded by the FDA and the National Institute of
Mental Health (NIMH) they discovered that kids taking ADHD
drugs such as Ritalin and Adderal are SIX TIMES more likely to die
suddenly and for unexplained reasons that kids who aren't on
these drugs. (The FDA, in their own inimitable way,
recommends cautions, NOT in using these drugs, but rather in
interpreting the study.)
Further
evidence from long term studies show that Ritalin increases
the chances of childhood cancers.
Help Kill
HR2749 Another really bad food safety
bill.
Obviously Americans need food safety laws. More
than that, we need our laws enforced.
The mad spree of deregulation beginning with
Reagan and ending (in suicide) under the last Bush has left
many Americans dead in its wake.
We pointed out in our last newsletter that right
after the last Bush took office, he immediately quashed some
food regulations that led to an immediate outbreak of Lysteria
that killed some seventy people
However, the laws coming out of committee in
the House of Representatives are being written by money from
the corporate food industry, and not by food science professionals.
Not by the people who the laws purportedly protect.
The latest is
HR 2749, the Food Safety Enhancement Act of 2009.
The problems with the bill are many, but overall,
the bill fails to target the real culprits of food contamination,
industrialized food companies, agribusiness, and imported foods.
Additionally, the bill puts an unfair burden on small, local
food producers (where we get our safest food!).
The bill increases hugely the powers of the FDA
while decreasing its accountability.
This is just a crime. The FDA has been running
a protection racket for huge corporations since I can remember.
This is not the time to increase their powers. In fact, it is
time to reign them in and reorganize the FDA (see the next article).
Here are a few more things that are wrong with
HR 2749 that were sent to us by a conscientious reader:
HR 2749 will require the mandatory imposition
of annual registration fees in the amount of $500 upon any
"facility" that holds, processes, or manufactures food.
Even though "farms" are exempt, the bill's definition of
"farm" is so scarcely defined that folks selling cheeses,
breads, and other products from their farms or at the farmers
market would be required to pay this fee, potentially driving
many small producers and start-ups out of business, especially
during tough times.
HR 2749 will give FDA the power to directly
regulate the methods by which crops are raised and harvested,
essentially handing complete and total control of every
farming operation to the federal government.
HR 2749 will give FDA the power to halt the
movement of all food in a particular geographic area in
the event of a food contamination scare or outbreak. The
provision directly includes "prohibiting or restricting
the movement of food or of any vehicle being used or that
has been used to transport or hold such food within the
geographic area", effectively shutting down any and all
local food sources, farmers markets, or cooperatives within
that area, even if their products have no connection to
the actual contamination source.
HR 2749 will give limitless power to FDA
to conduct random searches of the business records of small
farmers and local food providers without a warrant or even
the slightest hint of evidence that there has been any sort
of violation. It essentially allows clear passage by the
federal government into the private records of its choice
with no requirement of probable cause or legitimate reason
for doing so.
HR 2749 will appoint the Secretary of Health
and Human Services as the taskmaster in establishing a food
tracing system that will require an extensive, convoluted
system of tracking each item and ingredient from origin
to distribution. Because the bill fails to outline the logistical
procedures for how this complex task will be accomplished
and how it will be paid for, it once again hands an unprecedented
amount of power over to the federal government to control
and tax as it sees fit in order to accomplish whatever arbitrary
requirements it wishes to inflict upon our farmers and food
producers.
HR 2749 imposes grievous criminal and civil
penalties, including fines of up to $100,000 for each violation,
per individual, and up to 10 years in prison.
So now, it’s time to write your representative
and voice your opposition. Tell them to stop allowing lobbyists
for the food industry to write these things. We need REAL food
protection.
We’ve written extensively about the FDA here.
While coming down hard on supplements they let drugs get away
with murder. And this is no exaggeration.
Take the issue of Stevia.
Stevia is a plant that has been used for centuries
as a sweetener. Its leaves are 200 times sweeter than sugar,
yet there are no calories.
Then along came Aspartame.
Aspartame was originally turned down by the FDA
because it was poison. Did that stop the manufacturers? Heck
no. They hired Donald Rumsfeld to use his influence on President
Reagan who replaced the head of the FDA with a man who brought
along ten of his cronies. Within a very short time, Aspartame
was granted the FDA’s seal of approval, and within a year, the
head of the FDA and his ten cronies went to work at very high
paid jobs with the company making Aspartame.
Corruption? Y’betcha!
The corruption goes even further: stevia was
soon outlawed, and not because it was dangerous, although that’s
what we were told. My ex senator (it’s about Franken time!)
Norm Coleman wrote to me that stevia was a dangerous substance
and the FDA had to protect us from it.
Stevia came back on the market, but could not
be sold as a sweetener, but as a skin refresher. Whatever the
heck that means.
Stevia was just too dangerous to sell as a sweetener.
That is until Coca Cola (that super huge megacorporation)
came along and decided to switch from Aspartame to Stevia. Did
the FDA jump up and stop them from this dangerous move?
Nope.
Coca Cola is free to use stevia. Stevia is now
safe. Thank God for huge corporations; we all know they are
more important than the little guys, like you and me. They have
only our best interests in mind.
This is an old article published
in a previous newsletter, that was subsequently published in
an article on the immune system. How this happened, who knows?
But at least we've taken the time to update it and put it into
its own page and you can read about it here:
Hazards.
We received in our email a small article on this that just seemed
reminiscent of most internet hoaxes. We did a little research
and found the original article that had been published in a
non professional, non medical magazine in Canada. The magazine,
Cancer News Journal, did not have a very large circulation and
folded up quite a long time ago.
However, we did find 6 libraries in the US that had copies. Go here
to read the full, and debunked, original article:
The Asparagus
Cure.
We were
contacted by someone on the web who had written an article called
the “Article that Doesn’t Exist.”
He pointed
to our web site, the article on
Chemotherapy,
in which we quoted the biostatistician Ulrich Abel in an article
published in the British medical journal the Lancet.
There was
only one problem: the Lancet never published the article
we’d referenced.
Ok, so I
made a mistake. I was determined to fix it.
I finally
tracked down the article and discovered it was published in
a German magazine called Der Spiegel. Frank Wiewel from
People Against
Cancer gave us a translation.
Ron sent us a new cream that he’d been testing. He calls
is LAM (which, after a few tests, we decided it meant Like A
Miracle).
He’d originally called it InstaFlex. It was designed for
arthritis pain.
The first people to get it reported back that in “most”
cases, the pain went away right away, within 5 to 10
minutes. For those who didn’t get this result, they were
instructed to put a hot pad on it and wait a bit longer.
Most of those felt results.
Then he got back some startling testimonials concerning
not only arthritis, but tendonitis too.
Two professional guitarists who are well into their
fifties reported back to him that before a gig, they’d use
it like hand cream, wait a few minutes, and their fingers
then played like they were 20 again.
One thing it doesn’t seem to work on with much success is
lower back pain, though a few people said they did have some
success with this.
Now for the miracle: one person who had arthritis in an
arm also suffered from psoriasis on that same arm. He
applied the cream and the next day, he noticed his psoriasis
getting better. Soon he had new pink skin, and he contacted
Ron with his amazing story.
Ron then sent us some more to see how it worked on
psoriasis and eczema, and sure enough, I’ve not found one
case of either that the cream did not help.
Ron called me a few times wondering how the heck to
market this stuff? Arthritis? Tendonitis? Psoriasis? Eczema?
Well, then a person with rosacea wrote to me, we got her
a sample, and within two days she noticed a change. The
bumps were going away along with the redness (though some
redness was caused by sunburn).
Now Ron wants to test this on hives and scabies. If you
have either of these maladies and promise to send us your
results (good or bad), Ron will get you a sample to try out.
Just write to us:
Ron, I want to try your cream.
Some people still feel that I support Ron because I get
lots of money for doing this. I do not. I do get some free
creams and a good price when I purchase. But how they work
and if they don’t work, you never have to question my
veracity.
I’m going to publish all the testimonials we got back
from the tests of this cream. Some good, some not so good.
Some liked the smell, some thought the smell was gross.
Testimonials
I used the cream faithfully on
my arthritic right thumb base with no perceptible results.
Thanks.

I see a big difference but not
quite clear! been using it on the back of my scalp...along
hairline and in and around ears....I think using it a little
longer might get it gone !!!
Let me know when it goes on
sale!

This product is
great, after 48 years of severe eczema finally something
natural. Little shy on the relief of the deep burning itch,
but I am very impressed! Finally all cleared up!

Been meaning to write and give
you an update regarding the LAM cream as well as the HEALON
PF™, SUGARFOOT and ASC.
I have to tell you I love
everything.
LAM- I was using this on my face
before My Dad came into town. He took it home with him. Wish
I had more to experiment with. Let me know how much it is,
would like to purchase it.
I have this very noticeable deep
wrinkle under my right eye. After using it for a few days
the wrinkle formed a scab. Now it's not as deep as it was
before. I find this quite interesting, and was quite curious
to see what would happen after using it for a while.
I hit my foot so bad one day and
took the Lam and rubbed it on right away, the pain subsided
in about a minute or 2. I kept applying it throughout the
day and the redness went away and I was completely pain
free.
My Dad started using it as he
came. I told him to keep applying it throughout the day. He
was here for 7days.
I looked at the Psoriasis before
he left and it seemed to be drying up somewhat, but the
redness was still there. Dad's psoriasis is pretty severe.
If you saw it you would gag. He started getting it on his
elbows. He has it on one of his legs.
When I got the creams I did not
know which one to go with first, I was so excited to try
them all at once. So I have basically not been consistent
except for the Lam.
I started first with the Healon™
on areas where I have problem skin, so far it works well . .
. . There is a lightening of skin where the bad scars are
and on my face.
ASC- I have been using on skin
tags and other moley looking things and it does work to
remove them but slowly. One is almost gone, the others
taking a little longer.
I have used all these on my face
and I really like the fact that they moisturize without
making my face greasy and clogged which most creams do for
me. I don’t use sunblock because I just break out so badly
with it.
So far I love these creams and
by far are the best that I have ever tried and I have tried
many. I feel like I have these containers of magic creams.
* * *
These are the results of our
experience with the cream.....I was a professional painter
for 15 years....That should give a clue to the trouble I
have with my right shoulder, elbow and wrist...Normally, I
take 4 Tumeric capsules daily and it handles any discomfort
and inflammation nicely...With all the remodeling here, I am
doing plenty of painting once again!!...I ran out of Tumeric
and my shoulder flared...Were talking pain in my neck,
shoulder and arm...hence...NO sleep...I had used the cream
successfully on lower back so grabbed the cream and
waited...Within a couple minutes I could feel the pain
letting up...I reapplied in another hour and the pain was
tolerable tho not gone...However, the cream helped enough to
allow for sleep....My son is in training for extreme
sports...He works as a tree climber/trimmer for his
occupation and has a rigorous routine of running,
bodybuilding, kick boxing etc...This last weekend he had a
HUGE bruise on his back where his trainer landed a good one
and it was obviously painful...I rubbed on the cream and he
was back in just a few minutes..asking "WHERE did you get
this stuff and how do I get more of it?"....Gave a jar to a
friend who has severe arthritis....He stated that it
lessened the ache but thus far it had not done anything for
stiffness....He stated that the sample was too small, for
the time needed, to determine if it would have eventually
relieved stiffness....In a nutshell, the cream worked very
well on tendonitis and severe bruising and sore
muscles....Thanks for allowing us to be part of this study

So far I haven't noticed
anything significantly different, although the second day I
felt less pain in my shoulder giving me a better range of
motion. I have been using the cream on the back of my neck
and shoulder.
* * *
Good day to test arthritis
cream. I put some on the spot that hurt the worst on my
fingers and it started to feel better almost immediately.
But it didn't last -- it hurts again now, but not as bad. I
also put some on my "arthritis knots" on my thumbs. They
don't hurt, but did it to test if it'd change anything.
I'll probably use it a few more times today because my
fingers don't like this weather at all. Used on Jack's knee,
and it quit hurting.
Regarding Healon™ - okay, I'm
impressed. I don't know what I did on Saturday, but one of
my fingers had a huge swollen black part that hurt a lot. I
used Healon™ twice. Today I can't see that anything had been
wrong with it, and it doesn't hurt. How in the world does
it heal something UNDER the skin?

Well more good news on the pain
relief cream! It’s helping the arthritis I have in my hands
and feet and get almost immediate relief after applying it
to my joints. I actually thought it was a fluke, and didn’t
believe it could help so quickly, but it did! Thanks for
sending it! When I run low I WILL be looking for more!
* * *
Last night I had a searing pain
running from my neck down through the shoulder blade
area...The cream did relieve 95% of the pain on contact.
The cream … seems to numb the
pain that runs across my back, neck and shoulders while
cooking and doing housework. It relieves the pain on contact
about 90-95%. The length of time varies on pain relief from
a few minutes to an hour. Id reapply and it would continue
to block pain for a short time, possibly a bit longer after
reapplication. It’s not obnoxious to use, only a slight
menthol scent. It looks like hummus.
* * *
It helped my pain & eczema on my
shins.
* * *
I have arthritis in my hands,
and feet. My one little finger seems to be affected the
most. It hurts all the time in the joint. I have already
noticed a dramatic decrease in pain when I use the cream in
the morning and night. With working fulltime now, and having
to wash my hands often, I can’t use it during the day. I rub
it all over my hands as I had been waking up with very stiff
sore hands. I can’t believe the difference it seems to make!
* * *
I'm having a flare up because of
the storms, and woke up this morning with "fibro neck". I
put some on, and it seems to be giving me at least partial
relief. Didn't work on the arthritis in my lower back tho.
As for my knees, I have tilted
patellas PLUS arthritis, so it's a complex problems. Maybe
that's why it didn't work.
* * *
When I got the product, I was
pleasantly surprised by the texture and scent..it was very
earthy..as though there might be a hint of sesame..I shared
the cream with a dear friend...the cream helped soothe my
friend's aching wrists (arthritis).
It also protected my skin from
being blistered (from a severe scald) as I had been using
it for 3 days it didn't do much for nerve pain (whiplash) I
think I need something a little more potent for the type of
pain I am experiencing.
Thank you for sharing this with
me.
* * *
I decided to try the arthritis
stuff on the swollen parts of my hand that hurt the worst
and were the most stiff (where there weren't open wounds).
It definitely helped a LOT! Still hurts, still can't bend my
fingers much, but nevertheless it's MUCH better!
* * *
Just want to update you on my
progress with the cream. I know I already told you how it
has helped my shoulders and upper arms. They are doing so
much better and I have a better reach. I still feel in awe
every time I get something from my top cabinets.
Now, here is something new to
report. I get bad bad bad charley horses in my feet,
calves, inside my thighs from the groin to my knees, ribs
and occasionally I get them in my neck. I have never found
a way to prevent them or make them feel better. So, a
couple of days ago I had killer cramps in the upper side of
me foot and into the side of my calf. I have cried with
these things! Anyway, I applied the cream to the top of my
foot and up alongside of my leg. Within minutes the cramp
was gone! Now, someone said it was the massaging rather
than the cream that helped. Not True! I always massage
without relief. So, I am totally loving this cream! I
can't thank you enough for sending it to me.
* * *
I am painting the whole inside
of my house and just slathered some of that stuff on my
shoulders, neck and wrists. I will say that it has helped my
hip quite considerably.
* * *
It’s working good for Jer.
That's why I wanted it. He’s got tendonitis in his shoulder.
And he said that his shoulder is feeling much better when he
uses that. He does want to know what if any fragrance is in
it. He says it smells good. Don’t ask me. I can't smell it.
* * *
I've used it on arthritis in my
shoulders which causes great pain in my upper arms. Used it
at bedtime the last 2 nights and slept uninterrupted all
night long! It was great! I have also used it on the tops
of my feet and my calves. I get terrible "catches" in them
and they can last anywhere from a couple of minutes to an
hour. This cream has worked almost immediately. I am going
to try it on my hips tonight. It's definitely good stuff.
* * *
I hope that guy changes the
looks, textures and smell of it...ucky… but so far when I
have used it on my hip...it doesn't ache as much and seems
to last maybe 4 hours. My wrist is another story...helped a
little bit but not a whole lot.

The following testimonials were called in, so I’m
relaying them to you from my notes:
A guitar player in Louisiana had not been able to play
for over 12 months and after using the LAM for less than one
week reported he could play again as if he was 25 years old.
He timed the application and found that after he woke up in
the mornings and applied the LAM it took a total of 22
minutes for the tendons to relax and he could be normal
again. [This was Ron Salley’s brother who is definitely his
worst/best critic.]
An elderly German lady who suffered from leg cramps said
her legs would almost double up under her for ten to fifteen
minutes and were very painful. She applied the LAM and in
three to five minutes the cramps were gone and did not
return for long periods of time.
A professional baseball pitcher had nagging finger and
hand pain. He called me from the first tee box on the golf
course to report that he had used the LAM about ten minutes
earlier and that all the stiffness in his fingers and hands
had completely gone away.
A man in Colorado had reported to me he had eliminated
hamstring cramps after applying LAM to his leg. He had just
gotten out of a hot tub and still had the pain until he
applied the LAM.
A nurse who was scheduled for carpal tunnel surgery of
her wrist reported she used the LAM and in less than one
hour the pain was completely gone. In two days the pain
returned with a vengeance. She again applied the LAM and the
pain has not returned in over one month. Goodbye surgery.
A lady in Missouri reported to us that her niece who has
had major health problems and has to use crutches to move
about. Her hands constantly hurt her to the point of not
wanting to walk because of constant crutch pressure on them.
She has lived with a pain index of 8 for all the years she
can remember, which is a horrible number. After using the
LAM for a time (we don't know how long) her pain threshold
was reduced to a 4 according to her doctor.
A lady in Miami, Florida who is the administrator for a
large health facility had to use a cane to navigate the
stairs and had great knee pain. After using the LAM for
approximately one week the cane was discarded and she can
now move up and down the stairs with no pain and no help
from a cane.
One of
the problems with marketing anything this good is that if
the manufacturer makes any claims, he’s going to get a visit
from the FDA or FTC with guns drawn. This is one reason
Simply the Best makes no claims on their pages.
The
ingredients cannot be listed on the label because the
ingredients are so expansive. When Ron sends out a jar, an
oversized one ounce jar, he’ll send along a sheet listing
the ingredients.
We’re
looking for individuals with hives or scabies, so write and
we’ll get you a free jar:
And
remember, if for any reason the LAM cream does not help,
just return the remaining cream and Ron will refund you your
money 100%.
Instructions: For
arthritis/tendonitis pain, apply to affected area, if pain
does not subside in ten minutes, apply a hot towel over the
area. Use as often as necessary. For other skin
disorders, wash area and apply two to three times per day.
If 80%
of our bodies consists of water, then how much of our health
is based upon the water we drink?
We are
currently re-writing all our articles on water having found
new and “valid” evidence.
But in
the meanwhile, I’ve found two products I add to my water
daily.
As some
of you know, the water from a reverse osmosis purifier is
acidic and lacks a lot of taste. I discovered an MLM product
called AquaLyte that I use daily. It raises the pH of the
water and just makes it taste better.
Now I
despise MLMs (Multi-Level Marketing), but I have tried to
find something like this and cannot. There are a lot of
products out there on the market that are just plain bad.
AquaLyte
is Coral Calcium, ascorbic acid, and a milligram of silver.
Bob Barefoot, who hooked up with another favorite scammer of
ours, Kevin Trudeau, has tried to copy this product, but all
you have to do is a simple taste test. Barefoot is an expert
in marketing, but doesn’t seem to know his coral calcium.
You can
try this taste test. Put some water in the fridge, then fill
a two quart container with water, add a sachet of AquaLyte,
and in the morning, taste the water. The AquaLyte just
tastes better.
Again, I
truly dislike MLMs, but I’ve created a page here for
AquaLyte for my readers. You can purchase sachets of
AquaLyte without becoming a member; nothing to join.
However, if you want to join, go right ahead.
Another
product I’ve found is the Hydrogen Rich Water Stick. In an
old article we pulled from the site, we talked about a
product by this genius called Flanagan called Microhydrin.
However, the more we checked into it, the more we began
doubting the claims. Hydrogen in your water is an amazing
substance. It’s a powerful antioxidant and makes the water
wetter. But Microhydrin has never been tested.
The
product we found has been tested. It’s a little stick you
put in your water. It provides powerful hydrogen to your
water. It lasts six months. Here’s the link to them:
Hopefully we’ll be able to publish our papers on water soon.
Or….hopefully, one of the authors of these papers will allow
us to re-publish them so I can go fishing. Hey, I’m retired!
Damaged
Care, A Review
And you thought doctors were dull and boring.
Dr Gre
LaGanna and Dr Barry Levy met when they were medical
students at Cornell in the late sixties. Twenty-five years
later, they performed Damaged Care at their med school
reunion.
LaGanna
and Levy wrote Damaged Care (the book, the lyrics, the play)
together, and today they perform it together.
The
play is very creative, very insightful, and quite humorous.
The DVD is well worth it, and with today’s climate of change
(in health care, we hope), this is just what the doctor
ordered. These two docs will wow you, and it won't cost you
an arm and a leg.
My only
complaint about the video is that of all the places they’ve
performed, the one they used in the video wasn’t very big
and resembled a Holiday Inn. They could have maintained the
illusion of a larger venue had they kept the cameras on the
performance, but they kept panning the audience. On first
look, it was sorely disappointing.
While
driving cross country, an ad came on the radio about this
guy who bought up a million (or more, can’t remember) copies
of Kevin Trudeau’s New York Times Best Selling book:
Natural Cures “They” Don’t Want You To Know About.
I’d like
to point out that when someone buys a million copies, the
book automatically goes on the best seller list. This is how
many politicos get their books on the best seller list. Some
nut job/organization will buy up copies, and either give
them away, or undersell the retailers.
The guy
on the radio was giving away Trudeau’s book for FREE! All
you pay is the shipping. So, I decided to check this out and
report back to my readers.
First
things first: The book was not free. They say all you have
to pay is the shipping charges, but I know what shipping
charges on media are, and for this "promotion" you are
paying for the book plus shipping.
But it
doesn't end there. Next they try to sell you his other book:
sent free, you pay the shipping charges (again, overpriced
shipping charges).
Then
they try to sell you five other things. They even try to
guilt you by telling you that whatever you get, a soldier in
Iraq will get the same.
Trudeau’s books are crap. You can find all the info in them
on the web for free, and sadly, his books are advertizing
for even more crap he wants to sell you.
We
Americans love our barbecues, we love our meat.
I
received three wellness newsletters recently with warnings
about meat. One published a study, along the lines of the
China Study, showed that meat eaters tend to get more
cancers than non meat eaters. The other two pointed out the
dangers of barbecuing, or overcooking proteins.
Barbecued meats produce a substance called PHIP (phenylimidazo).
On top of that, recent studies from the University of
Minnesota have discovered still another related substance,
heterocyclic amines (HCA), which can “boost the risk of
pancreatic cancer by a frightening 60 percent.” Both of
these chemicals are closely related; interfering with the
processes by which they create carcinogens in our bodies is
definitely related.
First,
let’s just talk about meat.
The
methodology in most meat studies (like the China Study)
involves subjects who consume standard, conventionally
raised meats. Additionally, many of the meats consumed are
processed. Processed meats contain nitrates and nitrites
that in the body turn into nitrosamines which are
carcinogens.
Conventionally raised meats have hormones, antibiotics,
pesticide and herbicide residues, and many more toxins that
have gotten into our food supply, not to mention that our
beef are fed things they would normally not eat, such as
corn and soy.
Corn fed
livestock hold a great chunk of responsibility for the rise
in our inflammation indices (see also Chronic Inflammation).
Healthy Barbecuing
First we
must start by choosing healthy meats. Organic meats are the
best. Free range and grass fed beef come in a close second.
We should all be eating grass fed beef, and we should all
demand that our beef be raised on ranges of grasses, raised
humanely.
Next
we’re going to have to cook at a lower heat, cook shorter
times, and watch that we don’t burn the food. This, however,
is nearly impossible, since everyone wants a little “burn”
on their food.
When it
comes to beef, the simple rule is: the rarer the better. Raw
beef is the healthiest, and that’s just a fact. When you
start to cook it, you start to degrade the health benefits
and increase the known carcinogens. This is a simple fact.
Whereas, when it comes to chicken or turkey, you do not want
to eat these rare.
Most
people like their meat with a little burn so we’re going to
have to fight the toxic chemicals that promote all sorts of
issues that lead to eventual cancers with nutrition and
supplements.
Nutrition and Supplements
Studies
have shown that foods containing phenols, which act as
antioxidants in our bodies, change the way HCAs are
metabolized (avoiding the creation of carcinogens). Phenols
are found in fruits, vegetables, and teas. They are probably
the best defense against HCAs.
The two
most potent phenolic foods are cranberries and green tea.
Personally, I just don’t drink tea. I’ve tried, but drinking
tea has just never appealed to me. So I take a green tea
extract (concentrate).
Concentrated fruit juices contain a healthy dose of phenols,
but I prefer NOW Foods’ Natural Resveratrol, since it is
made up of many different fruit concentrates including
mangosteen, goji berry, acai berry, cranberry, raspberry,
pomegranate, and wild blueberry. One tablespoon a day is all
you need. I put it in my yogurt.
Most
cranberry juices are filled with sugars, so I try to avoid
those. I often add cranberry juice concentrate to other
juices and sweeten it with a bit stevia. Additionally, there
are cranberry concentrates (most often recommended for
bladder infections).
Another
chemical, a known cancer fighter that we’ve talked about in
the past that helps to neutralize the carcinogens from carbs
that have been cooked at high temps is indole-3-carbinol.
These I3Cs are found in cruciferous veggies such as
broccoli, Brussels sprouts, bok choy, kale, and cabbage.
These same I3Cs can help neutralize HCAs.
Finally,
we have that chemical found in all plants: chlorophyll. The
research on this is “sketchy” so we’ll go on to tell you
that this is where you can start to protect yourself against
PHIP.
There
are many studies that show how chlorophyll interferes with
PHIP’s pathways to cancer. One form, Chlorophyllin, “a
semi-synthetic mixture of sodium copper salts derived from
chlorophyll,” [Linus Pauling Institute] has been carefully
tested and proven to block the uptake of these carcinogens
found in cooked proteins. The only company we found that
makes a safe form of Chlorophyllin is the Life Extension
Foundation.
However,
chlorophyll is just something we all need, and we can get it
in many forms. All our green vegetables contain chlorophyll,
but, like beef, the rawer the better. A good green salad
helps, but still doesn’t supply enough chlorophyll so here
comes the supplementation.
Chlorella is rich
in chlorophyll and it a great detoxicator, helping to pull
heavy metals from the human body.
Finally we have
N-Acetylcholine, or NAC. This is an amino acid that boosts
immune response (by increasing the production of
glutathione), helps to clear the lungs, bonds with heavy
metals, breaks up mucus, and detoxifies a lot of toxins we
find in our foods.
NAC is something
that should be taken daily, even if you’re a vegetarian.
It’s just a powerful tool we need in our body’s tool chest.
It should be taken with vitamin C.
So, there you have
it. Now get out there and have a great barbecue. Oh, and
we’ve created a very healthy salad for you too (you’ll have
to make our Super Mayo first) right here: Mashed Potato
Salad.
In
Minnesota we’ve just witnessed a terrible miscarriage of
justice. A young man was sentenced to chemotherapy. The
family and the young man tried to avoid chemotherapy, but
the “authorities” were called in, the case went to court,
and a judge who knows nothing about medicine, health, or
nutrition determined that the medical community knew what
was best for this family.
One
fact stood out in this case. The particular cancer this
young man had, Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, responds well, greater
than 90% of the time, to chemotherapy.
Whether
someone should be subjected to the rigors of chemotherapy by
the courts or allowed to follow their own course of
treatment has been answered by a Minnesota judge.
This is
a very dangerous and anti-American precedent. But it’s not
the first time. I’ve just heard a story about Dr Alan Spreen,
a panelist for the Health Science Institute.
A boy
was brought in by his father because of a huge mass on his
knee. Dr Spreen sent them off to get a diagnosis. It was
bone cancer. The cancer was considered so bad, that the
oncologists determined that only an experimental drug
“might” be helpful, but that he would most likely lose the
leg above the tumor.
The
father refused. He wanted to go to Canada because he’d heard
of a treatment there, Essiac tea, that had been used by
JFK’s personal physician to cure his own terminal colon
cancer.
The
father quickly discovered that he was abusing his child for
refusing standard care medical advice.
He fled
the country for Canada, and that was the last time Dr Spreen
had seen either of them. That is until a few years later
when a young teen walked into his office followed by his
father, whom Dr Spreen quickly recognized. The father said
they couldn’t stay long because there was still an
outstanding warrant for his arrest, but that he wanted the
doctor to see how the Essiac had cured his son.
We’ve
just celebrated the Fourth of July. Since that first Fourth
of July, countless Americans have fought
and died to ensure our freedoms, but 233 years later,
we still don’t have freedom of choice in our medical care
and we can go to jail for our choices.
Go
figger.
The "e-comm
Café Organic Good Food
and Fair Trade Coffee
While
on the road for a photoshoot, I stopped into the “e-comm
Café” for a mocha and to check email on my laptop.
The old
place had been refurbished, the people friendly, and the
coffee and treats delicious. When we asked about the treats,
we were told that everything there was made by the owner’s
wife, Melissa, using only organic ingredients. The coffee
was purchased by the owner, John, who flew to Central
America yearly to choose his beans (which are grown
organically and picked by farmers who make a living wage).
John
showed us photos of the place as it was when he’d purchased
it. They took care to keep the original wooden floor as
close to how they’d found it. He built the bar himself, and
the old espresso machine had been refurbished.
When he
found out about this web site, he told me that he’d been on
a gurney a month earlier heading for bypass surgery. His
wife accosted the physician wheeling the gurney down the
hallway and asked him if he’d done a thyroid test. The
doctor, in perfect form, asked her where she’d gotten her
medical degree. John said she nearly flew over the gurney,
informing the doctor that, “I don’t care what degree you
have, you’re not practicing on my husband until you do a
thyroid test!”
Long
story short, the thyroid test showed that he needed some
thyroid meds and not bypass surgery.
If
you’re ever in Ashtabula, Ohio, definitely take time out to
stop into the “e-comm Café” and say hi to John and Melissa.
They’ve always got some local artist's work on display, a
friendly smile, and great things to nosh.
We’ve
had to get this newsletter out fast because the health care
industry is spending a lot of money right now to maintain
the status-quo in Washington.
Thus
I’ve not had time to finish my review of Photodex’s ProShow
Producer. I will tell you this much: ProShow Producer gives
you complete control over your slide shows. You can set the
timing on anything, from when captions appear, when sounds
occur, how long they appear, how they exit, when they exit.
Anything you could possibly want to do to a slide, this
program allows you to do it.
I love
working with the program and all my shows are made with this
program.
You can
output your show any number of ways from DVD and BlueRay, or
to your PSP or YouTube. The program is just wonderful and
you should go take a look at it on their web site:
ProShow
Producer.
I’ve
posted a new photoshow that will give you some insight into
what it takes to create the “perfect” photo. In the old
days, one had to work hours in the darkroom. Today, you put
those hours into Photoshop.
What The Artist Saw.
And
having just returned from northern Minnesota where the
skeeters are big enough to carry you off, I’m posting this
page of photos just for you: Latest Photos.
My
photography work supports this site. We’re building a store
that should soon be up and running with some affordable art.
Please, send feedback. We sure would like to know if we’re
doing something right.
The ridiculous organization in the above video
has been covered in the article:
The History of Quackery.
This organization is paid by drug companies (and their cronies)
to tell us how dangerous natural foods, vitamins, supplements,
and alternative medicine is.
New Rule:
Just because the press is willing to make a fuss about every
aspect of your life doesn't mean you have to take them up on
it. You don't have to be on television every minute of every
day. You're the president, not a rerun of "Law & Order."
Every time I turn on the TV, there's Obama! He's getting a puppy!
He's eating a cheeseburger with Joe Biden! He's doing his retard
hunk on Leno. He's taking Michelle to Broadway, and then to
Paris. Oh, it's the best season of "The Bachelor" yet.
I get it. You love being on TV! I love my bong, but I take it
out of my mouth once in a while.
Christ, the other day, I caught myself saying to a friend, "Don't
tell me if he's fixed the economy yet. I'm TiVo-ing it."
Now, remember during the campaign when John McCain attacked
Obama for acting like a celebrity, and we all laughed at the
grumpy old shell-shocked fool? Well, it turns out he was right.
It's getting to where you can't turn on your TV without seeing
Obama. Who does he think he is, Dick Cheney?
I was willing to give the guy the benefit of the doubt until
I saw him take Brian Williams on a tour of his house, like they
do on "Cribs."
And at the end of Obama's bed, there was a teleprompter, and
it said, "Who's your daddy?"
I mean, selling the personal part to stay popular, I'm all for
it. But, hey, you got us already. We like you, we really like
you! You're skinny and in a hurry and in love with a nice lady.
But, so's Lindsay Lohan.
And, just like Lindsay, we see your name in the paper a lot,
but we're kind of wondering when you're going to actually do
something. Sorry, folks, but this president is not fighting
for real health care reform. It's nibbling that leaves insurance
companies still running the show.
And the banks, the banks that brought us to financial ruin and
then got bailout money, are laughing at us about how easy it
was to get back to business as usual.
And scientists keep saying that if we want to keep living, you
know, on earth, it's kind of essential we reduce carbon dioxide
by 40 percent in the next ten years. Obama's bill calls for
4 percent. This is not getting the job done, and this is not
what I voted for.
And, this is why I don't want my president to be a TV star.
Because TV stars are too worried about being popular, and too
concerned with getting renewed. Oh, you can relax about that
one, Mr. President. The Party is doing everything they possibly
can to insure that you'll get re-elected. The Republican Party.
Speaking of which—speaking of the Republicans, if you can't
shove some real reform down their throats now, then when? Folks,
Barack Obama needs to start putting it on the line in fights
against the banks, the energy companies and the health care
industry.
I never thought I'd say this, but actually, what he needs in
his personality is a little George Bush. He needs to stop worrying
about being loved and bring out that smug, insufferable swagger
that says, "Suck on it, America."
George Bush had horrible ideas—torture, deregulation, preemptive
war, tax cuts for the rich—but he pushed them through in their
full measure, never mind the Congress or the Constitution, the
Geneva Convention — Magna Carta—Hammurabi's Code. The point
is, he didn't care if it made him unpopular with every human
on the planet not named Cletus or Fred Barnes. Which it did.
And what we need to do is to marry the good ideas that Barack
Obama has, with a little bit of the Bush attitude and certitude.
I'd love it if Obama came out one day and said, "Jesus told
me to fix health care."
In conclusion, Bush was bad, but he never cared if he was seen
out in a restaurant having a burger with Dick Cheney. If he
wanted a burger, he picked up the phone in the White House and
said, "I'm the president, bring me a burger!" And they would
say, "Sir, this is NORAD." "Would you please stop ordering burgers
into the red phone?"
I'm glad Obama is president, but the "audacity of hope" part
is over. Right now, I'm hoping for a little more audacity.
* * *
New Rule:
He's your president, not your boyfriend. Now, last week in this
space, I criticized President Obama for not fighting corporate
influence enough, and it made some liberals very angry. My phone
rang off the hook, my email filled up, and Nancy Pelosi got
so mad her face moved.
Look, folks, I like Obama, too. I'm just saying, let's not make
it a religion.
And, as far as you folks on the right who think that we're now
somehow in league, we're not in league. I was criticizing Obama
for not being hard enough on the corporate douchebags you live
to defend. I don't want to be on your team. Pick another kid.
So, I stand by my words. But, there is another side to the story.
And that is that every time Obama tries to take on a progressive
cause, there's a major political party standing in his way:
the Democrats. Now, people talk a lot about a third political
party in America. We don't need a third party. We need a first
party. You go to the polls and your choices are the guy who
voted for the first Wall Street bailout, or the guy who voted
for the next ten.
This year, we're hearing that a public option for health care
is unlikely because it doesn't have the support of enough Democrats.
Even Ted Kennedy's plan-- Ted Kennedy, yeah -- leaves 37 million
uninsured. This is because we don't have a left and a right
part in this country anymore. We have a center-right party and
a crazy party.
And, over the last 30-odd years, Democrats have moved to the
right, and the right has moved into a mental hospital.
So, what we have is one perfectly good party for hedge fund
managers, credit card companies, banks, defense contractors,
big agriculture and the pharmaceutical lobby; that's the Democrats.
And they sit across the aisle from a small group of religious
lunatics, flat-earth-ers and Civil War re-enactors who mostly
communicate by AM radio and call themselves the Republicans.
And who actually worry that Obama is a socialist.
Socialist? He's not even a liberal. I know he's not because
he's on TV. And while I see Democrats on television, I don't
see actual liberals. And if occasionally you do get to hear
Ralph Nader or Noam Chomsky or Dennis Kucinich, they're treated
like buffoons. Okay, these are not three of the world's most
charismatic men, but then nobody is going to confuse Newt Gingrich
for Zac Efron. And I have to look at his fat face on TV more
often than that free credit report song.
Shouldn't there be one party that unambiguously supports cutting
the military budget, a party that is straight up in favor of
gun control, gay marriage, higher taxes on the rich, universal
health care--legalizing pot--and steep, direct taxing of polluters?
These aren't radical ideas. A majority of Americans are either
already for them or would be if they were properly argued and
defended.
And what we need is an actual progressive party to represent
the millions of Americans who aren't being served by the Democrats.
Because, bottom line, Democrats are the new Republicans.
How easy it is to throw
stones at others and blithely ignore our own shortcomings.
It is easy when you are
Ari Fleischer and you said anything that was on the Bush-Cheney
menu for the day. As Fleischer and other neocon allies
point fingers at Obama and proclaim that his weaknesses caused
the current Iran election vote scandal to materialize, it is
necessary to see where the Republican right has stood on democratic
electioneering.
This is the same Ari Fleischer
who was laughed off his own podium and out of the White House
press room after steadfastly declaring that the Bush-Cheney
administration did not make decisions based on politics.
A subject that is too
tragic to laugh off is how Democrats actually won the last five
presidential elections but were not given official credit for
two victories. Fraud coupled with political opportunism
robbed Democrats of legitimate victories in 2000 and 2004.
How sadly ironic it was
for Karl Rove and others of the Republican high command to be
proclaiming a dominance for the foreseeable future when an ominous
losing streak was then occurring.
Florida Governor Jeb Bush
and close ally Secretary of State Katherine Harris shamefully
stole potential votes from African American and other minority
voters by "scrubbing"- the Florida state voters' list under
the pretext of excluding felons from voting in the 2000 presidential
election.
Despite this anti-democratic
conduct involving stealing votes in reverse, limiting potential
voters, courageous Florida Circuit Court Judge Terry Lewis sought
justice.
When the Florida State
Supreme Court ruled that a statewide recount should be held,
Lewis applied state law predicated on "voter intent."-
Lewis ruled that not only would under votes be counted, where
intent had been made clear, but over votes as well.
An over vote problem of
major proportions occurred in Duval County, the Jacksonville
area, involving first time voters, mainly African Americans.
Due to confusing language
about voting for a preferred candidate on "each page"- of the
ballot where there was a continuation, this problem existed
on such a pronounced level that the entire outcome of the close
Florida race could have been altered based on Duval County alone.
Republicans knew that
they could not tolerate an honest and honorable judge like Terry
Lewis to conduct a recount according to state law and in concert
with a ruling of Florida's highest judicial tribunal.
The neocon Federalist
Society stalwarts of the U.S. Supreme Court led by Antonin Scalia
and Clarence Thomas prostituted the law and contorted
constitutional reality by ruling in a 5-4 decision that candidate
George W. Bush had his legal rights impaired by a recount that
could have adversely impacted upon him.
It was nothing but fraudulent
gibberish and they all knew it. When Scalia had a chance
to defend his position in an appearance at Oxford University's
Speaker's Union he declined to do so, attempting to kill the
discussion through clumsily applied humor.
Now we move on to the
2004 election. Republican kingmakers knew that with Democrats
pointing to the fact that Al Gore received more popular votes
than Al Gore four years earlier, to pull off another theft it
was important to "win"- the popular vote.
When Bush was declared
the "winner"- he pointed to the "capital"- he had secured with
a 3-point edge of 51-48 percent in the popular vote.
This alleged difference
served to minimize pervasive and highly provable vote counting
fraud and denial of equal access to Election Day voting facilities
for African Americans in the greater Cleveland area. The
Ohio fraud was of such a magnitude as to make Florida democracy
destroyers like Jeb Bush and Katherine Harris turn green with
envy.
Many of us who had watched
the 2004 race closely could see that the momentum had dramatically
turned following the third and last presidential debate between
Bush and his Democratic opponent Senator John Kerry. The
naturally cocky Bush looked increasingly frightened while Democratic
votes were sought by trotting out oddballs such as Zell Miller
and Ed Koch, who would be lucky to influence voters in their
immediate families.
Just as Congressman John
Conyers, Bev Harris, and others documented the fraud in Ohio
that robbed Kerry of an Electoral College majority, investigative
journalist Robert Parry uncovered Republican vote fraud in Florida's
I-4 voting corridor, covering the greater Orlando and Daytona
Beach areas.
There was no forthcoming
explanation on why the Bush vote surged from 2000 in a year
where his totals were dropping or remaining the same within
Florida.
One weak as well as erroneous
argument was raised in the Washington Post that Bush won Florida
by a successful targeting of Christian Evangelicals. As
Parry and others refuted, that group held sway in Northern Florida
and the vote in that area indicated no such gains from Christian
Evangelicals or anywhere else.
As for that Bush "capital"-
based on a 3-point popular vote victory, that has also been
thoroughly exposed for those willing to accept the truth.
The book "Was the 2004
Presidential Election Stolen"- by Steven E. Freeman and Joel
Bleifuss provides evidence beyond reasonable doubt that the
later election was stolen as egregiously as was its predecessor
four years earlier. Kerry was as clearly defrauded by
Republican democracy destroyers as had been Al Gore before him.
Steven Freeman, a highly
respected professor at the University of Pennsylvania and leading
authority in Social System Science, crunched the numbers and
concluded that it is mathematically impossible, given current
technology, for a 6-point differential between the 51-48 edge
that exit polling provided for Kerry over Bush and the identical
figures with a reversal of the candidates.
Freeman concluded that
it was mathematically impossible, given current technology,
to produce an error so large that in every instance, when battleground
states were polled on Election Day, the differences between
those figures and the announced official results in every state
showed gains for Bush and losses for Kerry.
Another factor showed
up as well, one that many were able to deduce before studies
revealed it. The factor inflating the Bush 6-point improvement
between exit polling and final announced results was consistent
upward movement in the incumbent's figures in southern stronghold
states.
What could be simpler
than padding the totals in states where Bush was the clear winner?
To do so in those states would not only be easier to accomplish
than elsewhere in the nation. Such an effort was less
likely to be uncovered absent intensive investigation.
So Fleischer and your fellow Republican
right cohorts, you have gall to be crying about election theft
given the tawdry recent past of your own corruption-riddled
Under Our Skin
A movie about an epidemic worse
than AIDs, and doctors are telling us it's all in our heads.
Miss-diagnosed, miss-treated, miss-informed.
It got 3 out of 4 stars in the
Union Tribune. Hundred of rave reviews are
flowing in all over the nation...but box-office sales is the
only way to
help the movie be released in more and more cities
nationwide. This will
help make real change by uncovering the REAL TRUTH about
what is really
going on. Helping to put a stop to the 'thieves' in our
health care system
and help hundreds of thousands get proper diagnosis and
treatment before it
is too late.
When your boyfriend,
husband or significant other does something that makes you angry
don't give in to the temptation to argue and fight.
Just count to ten,
remain calm and after he goes to bed, super-glue his flip flops
to the floor.
Mary had a little pig,
She kept it fat and plastered;
And when the price of pork went up,
She shot the little bastard.
Mary had a little lamb.
Her father shot it dead.
Now it goes to school with her,
Between two hunks of bread.
Jack and Jill went up the hill
To have a little fun.
Stupid Jill forgot the pill
And now they have a son.
Simple Simon met a pie man going to the fair.
Said Simple Simon to the pie man,
'What have you got there?'
Said the pie man unto Simon,
'Pies, you dumb ass'
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the kings' horses,
And all the kings' men.
Had scrambled eggs,
For breakfast again.
Hey diddle, diddle, the cat took a piddle,
All over the bedside clock.
The little dog laughed to see such fun.
Then died of electric shock.
Georgie Porgy pudding and pie,
Kissed the girls and made them cry.
And when the boys came out to play,
He kissed them too 'cause he was gay.
There was a little girl who had a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good, she was very, very good.
But when she was bad........
She got a fur coat, jewels, a waterfront condo, and a sports
car.

A school teacher
injured his back during the summer and had to wear a plaster
cast around the upper part of his body. It fit under his shirt
and was not noticeable at all.
On the first day of the fall school term, still with the cast
under his shirt, he found himself assigned to the toughest group
of students in the school. Walking confidently into the rowdy
classroom, he opened the window as wide as possible and then
busied himself with desk work. When a strong breeze made his
tie flap, he took the desk stapler and stapled the tie to his
chest.

And so it does: "A
f r i c a n Elephant "
